    LOL, that's great.

    So many first round busts.

Myles, Baker, Denzel, and Jedrick seem to be working out pretty damned well though. Steal of second rounders has to be Chubb.

    "FULL STEAM AHEAD"

No new Covid positives, contact tracing results in no new na

It's probably the hopelessly optimistic Cleveland fan in me, but thinking about it, Baker Mayfield will have every one of his top targets/playmakers: WR Landry/Higgins/Peoples-Jones (hopefully); TE Hooper/Bryant/Njoku RB Chubb/Hunt; and they will be hopefully getting a bunch of guys back on the defensive side including Pro Bowler Ward.

I know it's not going to be easy, and losing Stefanski sucks, but he's said since day one that they have prepared for this. The line is still only at 6, not even close to some of the double-digit lines out there for this weekend.

    Deep breaths and big sips.

I’ll bet you thought Byner was going to cross the line too.

    So did I.

Somewhere, in a house along the Lake in Rocky River, is a sizeable dent in the basement bar that will serve as a reminder for all time that my Dad thought so too.

Did you see the Drew Carey episode where he dies, goes to heaven, and opens a door. Behind the door is an end zone view of the last pass of Elway during The Drive, happening real time, only this time the ball is knocked away and Cleveland wins? I liked that 3 seconds.

I'd link it but I can't find it.

Drew’s take on NE Ohio has always been a good one.

When his show was in full swing and I was in High School he moved his OH residence to our town. We’d see him out and about when he wasn’t in LA and you always had to do a double take because he had lasik by then and wasn’t wearing his glasses around like he does now.

If the Browns manage to win this weekend I hope he posts another one of those bits he does with his buddies from the show kinda like he did after the Cavs title.

In unrelated news, with all the shitshows going on in our country this week, the focus is finally off the Browns’ issues for a while.

    Which is nice.

Lol. That found its way into many stockings a few Christmases back.

I’m in a dead zone here. Christmas decorations are all down and packed away, house is cleaned, people are generally leaving me alone... it’s still 3 hours till kickoff. I can’t start poppin tops now, right?

My wife is drinking beer now. I am really trying to wait for the game to start to keep things from getting any uglier than they need to.

My sacrifice of Great Lakes Brewing Company Dortmunder Gold seems to be working. I’ll keep it up.

I mean 28 points in the 1st quarter has to be a playoff record for the browns right?(maybe even regular season). However as a perennial loser I know not to get too excited early.
