My trainer is coming on Monday... give me a week or so to get my setup dialed and some rides in and I’ll join up!

If your zwift rides are getting sent to strava there's a segment there. But the zwift segments are even more of a shit show than real life ones, so you have to get on the actual strava website instead of just the app to sort through them all and have it show the ones you want. Sticking to mostly the "zwift insider verified" segments is a good way to do it. Once you get enough rides and go through and hide the bullshit they start to be more useful.

Ok gotcha thanks! I was wondering if there was any benefit to linking a strava account.

Do I need a paid strava membership? I don’t normally use it except to record new mountain bike trail building projects.

Ahhh! Working late + no smart trainer = me no show for every maggot group ride since he first one! Gotta get a new trainer. Doing a V02 max test tomorrow to get a real training regimen figured out.

Heading outdoors for a fat session, not sure about tonight. I’ll have to see how my legs are.

I know smart trainers are in short supply these days so I figured you guys would appreciate the heads up that this model is in stock. Just do a couple extra root canals.

^ I could see the power numbers jumping up into the red, and saw a few double digits.

    Great turnout with 10 riders.

^^ Video of Jamal dropping the rest of us as if we're not even moving, then finishing the lap solo while widening the gap.

That's cool! So you know, this makes me feel a little better. When you blew past me ("my turn"), it's good to know you were at least breathing a bit. I was so far from being able to grab your wheel at that point that's it's ridiculous. You strong like bull. Nice!

It got pretty close to as high as it gets at the end of that 2nd link if you want to see me really dying.

Did my VO2 max test today. 61. I guess that's pretty good. Going to start doing the personal coaching with Training Peaks integration. Really need me a new trainer. Using the Cyclops wheel off trainer in ERG mode at the Physio was sweet. My current trainer is a fucking joke lol.

Yes and no .. for bits maybe but then that 3rd lap is still draining the tank - keep working at it though!

Nice Jamal, although I think that jersey is costing you watts! I've got multiple fans going to keep the engine temps down when the RPM and watts go way up.

    Looking forward to next one

I'd agree that the Jersey isn't helping heat storage.

At the same time, not sure anyone on YouTube wants too see a bare chested cyclist.

    Yeah that was the thought.

And it's cold in there and I have two fans right in front of me, have never felt overly warm. I have to wear a thermal jersey to warm up and turn the fans off if i'm just casually pedaling.

I'll pump an old cycling buddies base layer. Look at Knave Wear. I like their logo and motto. Have a knife day was a reference on our rides of bringing the wrong bike to the ride.
