    It’s all about context.

    Remember Johnny Football?

    Remember Spurgeon Winn?

    Vinny Greenballs?

    Oh for fucks sake, something I seem to be saying all the time now, here it is. Zero, and I mean zero wide outs will be playing tomorrow. Good thing Hunt is a reviving back and we’ve got 4 TE’s, not to mention it’s the JETS.

    Our wideouts are going to be Hunt and Nojoku. A RB and a TE. This is fucking stupid. And both our starting LBs out too.

    Maybe Ward can play WR?

    At this point how do teams not have a full second team kept in a separate, undisclosed location, just for this reason?

    Edit: reading your post above just made me realize that The Cleveland Oh For Fucks Sake would be a pretty good name for the baseball team.

    Edit 2: are the Raiders really gonna lose this game after scoring the go ahead FG with 19 seconds left?

    Edit 3: yup. Unbelievable.

    Easy peasy. Just beat the squealers next week, or hope the Jags beat the Colts.

    I was banging balls on the range this afternoon as they mounted their second half comeback, listening along to the radio call on my airbuds. Several, audible, loud, “FOR FUCK’s SAKE” snuck out to the surprise of those around me.

    I just swung harder.

    I was driving to Jackson Hole. This is how stupid I am. I was convinced that they would score a TD at the end. How stupidly optimistic are Brown’s fans? It’s like Stockholm Syndrome.

    My wife actually sent my dad a very sincere I’m sorry text. And meant it. And was worried about him. It’s a tough life.

    It better fucking snow.

    In hind sight, sounds like not enough of them... Way too many pass attempts due to the run getting shut down, without 4 of their receivers and Mayfield does 53 pass attempts and no touchdowns off any of them.

    Yeah, but it's the Jets.

    The entire WR room benched on Covid reserve;
    3 starting OL out and 2 of their backups;
    The secondary out on IR;
    Starting LB out; and yet

    Is all it comes down to. Sheesh this one didn’t get easier overnight.

    Win and in at home vs the Squealers Sunday? Yeah, Ben could be playing with one arm and we could have our entire squad active and I’m still not feeling great about it.

    Years of abuse will do that to a man.

    Perhaps someone can get JuJu to dance on the logo to get your team fired up?

    I fully expect a Steeler to take a cheap shot on someone, ending their season, a-la Hines Ward or James Harrison as a way to make up for the Myles Garrett clubbing incident

    Monday and Tuesday can be hard on the head.

    I actually thought about it in the middle of the night last night. I feel bad for my relatives in their 70s and 80s. All they needed was to beat the Jets. Dammit. Let them feel joy.

    My heart has hope. My heart, however, is a stupid abused child. My brain knows better and is not looking forward to losing 35 to 31 at the hands of Rudolph during the Christmas season.
