This is the most Browns ending to a season since Bartman blocked the foul ball catch.

Jags lock up the TL sweepstakes.

Browns can advance, all they have to do is beat the Squeelers. Or the Colts lose to the Jags. Stock up on the booze, Cleveland fans.

Fuck all this shit. Baker nailed it in his one-response press conference today.

(Paraphrasing) “That was 2020 wrapped up into one game, we had no wideouts, half of our O Line and walked the new guys through the playbook in a garage next to the stadium after delaying our flight to 10pm last night. But none of that matters one bit. We believe in every guy who puts on a Cleveland uniform and I put the ball on the ground 3 times and didn’t do my job. I have to do better. Win and we’re in next week. That’s all that matters.”

Go get em Baker, you always play better with a chip on your shoulder and everyone telling you it’s impossible anyway.

It’ll get flexed to SNF too, book that.

As of right now, with the Covid suspension of Willis today, the Browns are now down, due to last minute Covid suspension:

    Both starting ILBs
    All WRs. All of them.
Starting LT, which means three of top 6 OL are out.

At least we know how the Browns are going to miss the playoffs. It’ll hurt less that the mystery is gone.

Everything is fine. We are used to the pain.
And it turns out I was wrong. Despite being used to it that one still hurt pretty bad.

And it made an otherwise pleasant drive to Jackson Hole not so pleasant.

And it’s gonna make for a stressful week.

Just gotta lock down home field next week. Too bad no/limited fans this year for all teams in the playoffs.

Cam is broken/washed up. Just put Stidham in ffs.
As probably the only panthers fan here who also attended the super bowl and lots of home games of the past 2 decades plus, I never understood the pats fans thinking cam had anything left after the past 3 seasons. Dude was lights out in 2015, but that was his swan song. Injuries and age exposed his bad mechanics and questionable decisions.
There’s a reason why he came on a one year price it deal. I’d be shocked if he’s in a pats uniform next year. He’s done

Perhaps he could take his game over to the Tony Dungy/Rodney Harrison pregame show and spice things up a bit? Rodney Harrison is a dud.

C'mon man...you don't think people are clamoring to watch Eagles/WFT "loser must retire"* grudge match?

*one can only hope it's a tie and both are put out to pasture.
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

I don't think anyone with the Pats took it for granted that he was still a star player. The guy looks totally washed up and I'm sure they'll turn the page.

But the Patsies have more extensive problems that need to be fixed. They've got no one to catch the ball in addition to no one to throw it. It's been interesting to watch them try to run an offense from the 1940s in the modern NFL, but it's kind of a joke if they actually intend to score points and win games.

WRONG. There are two of us, my friend.

And as the resident Cam apologist, I would like to say this: 2015 was the realization of his potential and injuries and improper recovery have hindered his mechanics ever since. This is his first year healthy in a very long time and he has dealt with COVID and played with the absolute worst WRs in the league. I think many of the questionable decisions this year are attributable to COVID brain fog. Let's not forget, let's not forget, dude, that he played pretty damn well in the games prior to his being out.

Cameron Jerrell Newton is not done. The man is easily the most naturally gifted QB in his combination of size and ability to ever play the game and he still has many of those gifts.

It wasn’t the right fit from the get go. Especially not on a one year deal. If he had some years left in him, and willing to adapt to his strengths then maybe. But there was none of that.
Billy should have bit the bullet and ran Stidham and whatever else kibbles n bits out there and work towards next year. Lost a lot on continuity all around, wtf did he expect...

After watching Baker Mayfield’s antics while at Oklahoma, it comforts my soul to watch him suffer, whenever possible. I used to assume that everyone else in Austin naturally felt the same way about him, and his down-horning ways, but then one day ran into a guy proudly wearing his Baker Mayfield jersey down at the supermarket. And then I recalled that I was a couple miles from Lake Travis High School, so I guess he could be forgiven for his misguided fan loyalty. Who knows, maybe he is a relative.

Over time, I’ve come to admit that Baker is a gifted athlete. However, he can still eat giant green donkey dicks, as far as I’m concerned.
