For a grand total of 1/2 inch.
I skinned some laps at Stowe tonight and it was definitely stacking up there. Not close to enough to ski away from snowmaking trails and they’ll groom the whole mountain tonight but it was nice to be out in it for a few hours.

Dammit. I was thinking of doing the same but sat on the couch and drank beer. I will have to head up tomorrow night.

East Coast Roll Call #??? 20-21 Covid closures and hard core touring! Be Fit or Sit

Fun on snow was had with a gate to gate round trip on skinny skis in the Notch. Even some knee dipping’ turns were had dropping down the Stowe side.

Nice! Weird day, Worcester to parts of Elmore plowable 3-4 inches, Moesville to Johnson dust on grass, Waterville 4-5 inches, 3-4 on hogback road up to the LT. Rather than look for ice I should have skied to the notch and ice climbed.

    VT ftw. [emoji106][emoji482]

Meanwhile in NH I worked on my first little ski line. Probably more work than it's worth, but wtf, it's out the back door, good pitch and I've been smoking weed looking at it for years. I might get 12-15 turns...full kook mode. Can skin back up and old abandoned road, but next phase is a skin track back up.

Takes a right where it closes out and continues on.

    Looking good, Harvey.

Headed back to the Notch Road today. It was much more packed this morning and the skate skiers were having the most fun.

The ice does not look ready.

Coverage is just there but it was snowing with a bit of accumulation on my ski back from Stowe to Smuggs.

    The snotcicle is forming nicely.

Went up this afternoon with my fish scales, but left the ice gear at home, the two skate skiers made me jealous until I watched them try to thread all the people on the down.

Thinking we might have passed each other following Peruvian's tracks on the down from the boulder, red jacket?

Fwiw, the hunter more resembles Caesar from planet of the Apes to my demented eye.

Only a couple more days left of 2020, do you think we can sneak in another Covid discussion?

Can anyone recommend a service to replace a broken zipper on a jacket in northern NH? Western whites. If I can't find anything close I will just mail it to Marmot but then need to find a jacket.

^^best bet might be a dry cleaner that has an elderly tailor on staff. i need to find one as well...have so many jackets on the shelf ith faulty zippers.

if zippers were made to last i'd wonder if the ski apparel industry could keep up with diminished demand
