If any EC Mags have a TeleBoard for sale, I'll take it. It's been 20 years since I've been on one and I wear a helmet now... What could go wrong?! Monoski is a distant second.

A woman at Cannon has the Nh plate "monoski".
She rips it up all over the mountain.
    Adaptive.

Naw dude. You just snap out of one binder and kick along. Just think how much easier it is to only have one ski and one skin to push up the hill!

^ you're addressing a guy who never got comfortable on a skateboard....i guess the free kick leg works so long as snow is supportive.
still having a hard time picturing the tandem freeheels...will consult youtube.

another visit to a new (to me) ski hill
chill vibe, thin natural cover and some steps that will be fun when there's more snow. and just an hour away.

    (sorry for rotation)

Quick pic from my early morning skin today. Wanted to get another day in before the Great Christmas Schnlonging of 2020 melts all of our snow.

I've only seen shadows like that in Everest documentaries. Didn't realize a tiny little hump like WaWa Was could pull one off.

Got out for a lap with the dog today at Mt. Abram. Not a lot of natural depth, but the dust on groomed crust in some places made for surprisingly good turns. It probably would've been a really good ski of I had known what had been (lightly) tilled prior to the dusting and what had just been driven on and track-packed.

I'll be shocked if much natural snow survives the expected weather, but that's why we pay for snowmaking.

Dude, I was not serious at all. Tele mono is...well, if one digs it, good for them. The reverse tele turn every other is interesting.

I'll never forget a friend of ours tele skiing for the first time in Taos. He ripped on alpine, so he takes off making solid turns, but my friend and I were like something is not right. Took us a second and then we cracked up...he was making reverse turns! His uphill ski was leading and downhill trailing...but he was solid. It was hysterical.

Nice! I haven’t been since high school. At this point, it would be like a first time again.

It was a good day yesterday. Today will be good as well. Tomorrow.... not so much.... the last forecast I saw did put a lot of the so Vt mtns in .75” of rain as opposed to 2” in Bennington. So I guess that’s a win..

And in the mountains. Cannon already closed today. Loon already announced closed xmas day. Cannon always closed xmas day so employees can be home. I just broke some ribs so timing of xmas flooding and freezing not too bad. And I got a keg of Hobo Life to ease the pain.

I still have some discount Cannon vouchers good thru 2020 if anyone wants.

Consider cooking your Xmas goose in advance since power may, or may not, be available tomorrow.
