I use sincerely. It's open-ended, could mean I sincerely hope this will be the last email. Or I sincerely hate you.

Seems to get the point across...

When used in moderation and you know, when it's actually genuine, it's good. Otherwise, yah, every email is a no-go.

That one made me laugh. Would be a nice touch to a resignation letter

I used to use Cheers, because I needed a drink after every email.

We need to bring back "hasta" as a goodbye. Maybe update it some to make it more annoying.

    "Hasta, bruh."

I’m annoyed that so many people have their day/week ruined on Christmas by not being able to buy nice enough presents for their kids/spouse/parter/parents/siblings.

Finding out a dear friend’s relative just passed from COVID puts all my minor annoyances in perspective. I am angry.

I am pissed at the sheer stupidity and ignorance of my fellow Americans, ignoring the science, while my wife (an RN) and many close friends (MD, RN, CRNA, NP, etc) venture out into the medical front line, day after day, helping where they can, risking their own lives to do their jobs and help people who are fucking suffering. Fuck you, deniers: you’re not “skeptics”, you’re idiots, and you are in the way.

I already know the answer to this, but I fucking hope I’m wrong: Are we, as a culture (species?) really this selfish? This blind to evidence?

I’m an optimist by nature, always have been; life is generally amazing. But it’s getting to be pretty damn hard to hold the line.

Even speaking as a seasoned pessimist and cynic, this year has been a rough one. Now I need to work out so I can open a beer and finally muster the resolve to bump the "Fuck Cancer" thread.

I love baked goods, thanks for bringing them!
But overcooked chocolate chip cookies annoy me.
    They should be soft.

I feel the exact opposite. There's nothing worse than a flaccid chocolate chip cookie. Give me crunch, dammit!
