Heard is suggested that TEN INCHES fell between 8AM and 9AM. That's apocalyptic.

Indeed. I figured they would be letting people ski wherever they wanted to. Sunapee had one run open, with Summit Glades accessible from there (but they were technically closed). Fuck Vail.

Holy shit it was deep today. Almost too deep for the terrain. 10th chair at Bromley and first two laps were just straight lines or you got stuck (and I was on Protests). Got better as it tracked out so you could get some speed and slash pockets. Rinse and repeat tomorrow at Magic.

Crotched mountain report. One of the more epic drives to get there in the morning. On lift before 930. From my third run on was ducking rope to ski the trail paralleling the high speed lift line. Only skied one set of woods far lookers left. They were meh but likely others better if you know. I just like going fast through the deep not much fresh left. Sure tomorrow will be fun with sloppy seconds

Apocalyptic snowfall in Derry also. No accumulation at midnight to 25" at 5:30am. Do the math...Another foot fell by 9:30am.

Update from Magic: Red will likely spin tomorrow. Geoff said 90% (only because nothing's 100% when your lifts are 40+ years old).

As Leo reported, untracked was almost unskiable. It consolidated really quickly which was surprising as there was no wind. Still, fun was had but didn't venture into any woods as I was solo for most of my day which started at noon.

I'll be out by 1:00 tomorrow. Peruvian will likely be around as will RustyGroomer and Goniff.

^ Crotched is 25 minutes from my NH abode and I have an Epic Pass. Can't wait to check it out. They've gotten a shit ton of snow so far this year compared to VT.

Looks like I may end up at Magic tomorrow. Everyone had to take today from work to dig out so nobody is playing hookey on Friday to go touring.
