FINALLY the snow that we have been waiting for
You're welcome, I move to California and vermont gets nukedReminds me of the storm that hit magic in either 2017 or 2018 where they got like 30+ inches. Watching DoWork come down red with head over blower was awesome. Hopefully everyone is getting after it safely and having a blast!
Also, since when are there waiting rooms for the Vail websites (Okemo/Sunapee)? I guess it beats crashing the website.
Im about to head out and hopefully get some turns in. We got about 10" so far in Braintree, maybe just far enough south to get it.

A friend on teh Facebooks just suggested 44" in Ludlow. For realz?
Any truth to Okemo not spinning lifts today for too much snow?
That Don't Make No Sense

Watching the radar this morning. Between 6 and 7:00 a heavy band set up over south/central VT and just sat there. THEN another heavy band swept in from the south and merged with it. However instead of the combined bands pushing north, the new super mega band sat in roughly the same place as the original. The precipitation rate under the core of that band must have gone straight from light speed to ludicrous speed and possibly plaid.

Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.</p>
That’s a f-550. There is 38” on top of it. 44” inches outside the door. That’s in East Dorset
Boing!

Got to Bromley to learn that they were not ready to open and didn't have enough time to deviate to Stratton, fortunately I brought my skins. Equally as fortunate there was a groomer trail headed up to the Sun lift as it would of been a slog of a skin track up to the summit. Did 2 laps off to the East side. Then came down through a glade on the west to finish. Legs are cooked. Wasted deep in many places. The wind scouring the pow was appreciated in places to get speed. If not, it was too deep and not steep enough to move! Back to work/zoom mtgs by 2, I could get used to this!
