Anyone skiing this weekend? Worth it to head to lookout to scratch the itch? Saw some insta footage of someone at Lolo recently, but man it's gotta be a mine field with downed timber and the thin snowpack....
I was on misery sticks at Lolo last weekend. Zero chance I would try to make a turn up there right now.
Surprisingly organized pass pick-up. Two lines, signs with social distancing guidelines and markers, etc. I got in and out before the official 11 am opening so I am not sure what it was like later when lots of people showed up, but I am impressed with the effort. They also have a very cute new little standalone ticket house/window on the left across from the ski patrol entrance, near the sponsor board.
Dude, I showed up at like 11:30 and stood there like a dickhead for 15 minutes when I finally got near the front because it didn't occur to anyone to keep both lines moving while 1 dude was having whatever problems. Like when you get on the wrong line at the grocery store and now you're stuck behind an old lady writing a check.
Then ran down the hill so I didn't break my ass.
It's like they were trying to get shut down AND sued for slip and fall.
Are they even trying to open and stay open this year? They have mad 0 snow around the bottom. Idiots.
Well aren’t you a ray of fucking sunshine....
Stood there like a dickhead...
I'm using that again some time.
Sup funky. Lurking is ok
That's cool. Hard to see how there won't be downloading. Sunrise bowl appeared to be 95% grass on Saturday.
Web cam showed a groomer headed up Sunrise bowl at 8am (yesterday? )

It's definitely a long commute to kind of a goat farm, but Lookout skied pretty good today for what it is. Max lift line was maybe 45 seconds. felt good to push some fresh snow for sure.
Any word from your roommate, stuck?
