East Coast Roll Call #??? 20-21 Covid closures and hard core touring! Be Fit or Sit

From what I see here in area as well.... that kids are not transmitting in schools....we are “face to face” with those rug rats all day long (w/masks)....but nobody is getting sick (yet?)....it’s definitely strange that our school has been free of spread for the past 11 weeks.

We were doing great with the "hybrid" learning model - kids on alternate days and were only in the building 8 hrs a week along with health screenings, masks, etc. but now we're shut down again due to a few staff contracting it. I thought our admin had a solid plan for keeping the COVID out but we didn't even make it until Thanksgiving. Now we are scheduled to go back on 12/2 but then how long until we get another case? Our county is currently blowing up and it will get worse with the holidays coming and people traveling. I'm happy I'm not the one making these decisions about schools.

I'd like to be stoked for ski season but its concerning where we'll be in a few weeks and how the Governor will handle it.

At least we got a bit of snow last night.......

Doing the hybrid model here in Western Mass for a couple months, it sucks. Not really helping those who need it and it’s burning us edumacators out quickly. Feel like we are WW1 soldiers in the trenches and disposable.

Only bought an Indy Pass this year and that was too minimize the $$ loss that I’m anticipating this year. Touring setups ready to rock though.

Can’t see how ski areas can responsibly open to the masses at this point.

I caught a shark on Election Day and torqued my ankle a bit too hard so I’ve been taking it easy. I’m starting PT tomorrow so hopefully no serious dent in the season.
