The "sponsored" link isn't there right now for me to give them the click they're looking for.

I do recall that the website is nyup.com and that it looks and reads suspiciously like cleveland.com, including this article about now is the time to go chase Lake Erie steelhead

    https://www.newyorkupstate.com/outdo...steelhead.html

Which again brings me back to the point that the two areas seem to have more in common than just grey skies and a higher than average percentage of beer enthusiasts.

Also found on this treasure chest of information: Upstate is losing a big tree so that Downstate can gain one.
I still call it The Jake.

67 degrees in Ellicottville today, that can't be helping the Thanksgiving opening day goal.

They could paint. It's the second paint job from the factory, deep ocean blue. Got it done right before the factory got shut down in bankruptcy.

Sometimes into Duchess, New Paltz a few times a year, and I've made it a point to do three or four days in Saratoga every year since I left. Cooperstown is the best.

Lower upstate (?) is a hassle today if you need anything from the DMV. Besides the fact that for most transactions it has been by appointment only for a few months now you can't even go to turn in license plates. A bunch of them are closed due to positive covid cases This sux because if you don't turn in the plates you can't take insurance off a vehicle so if the one in my county doesn't open by Monday I have to insure 2 vehicles that don't run anymore.

If I don’t see that on a billboard over I-86 then someone in the marketing dept should lose their job.

Currently the electronic signs on the highways say “a small ask- wear a mask” or “NY Tough”
