Not for dispute - upstate ny car.

Yeah, never buy a used upstate car.
They still haven't figured out how to rust proof exhaust systems, but, it's pretty remarkable how rust proof and resistant modern cars are. I worked in a large factory of sorts in Saratoga and used to walk through the parking lot filled with older, higher mileage cars, and hardly any visible rust. The undersides, well, that's another matter.
And speaking of I-86 in New York. Whom ever came up with the numbering of the exits in the Southern Tier (Chautauqua-Allegany if you want also)?? The first exit in New York is Exit 4, then the second exit is Exit 6, then Exit 7, 8 etc. (and New York does not used mile markers for their exits like some states do - Exit 4 is at mile marker number 1- so there are no roads to add 3 exits before the first one...) http://www.nysroads.com/i86list.php
NY Department of Transportation planners must have been drunk or something??
I think they were leaving spaces for future exits, there's a missing one on I 684 near my house. They've renumber some places already, they got I 84 east of the river last year and changed it to mile markers for the exits. I got so used to the old numbers I can't seem to stop calling it that way when someone asks for directions. That whole conversion is a clusterfuck and the road is so far from Interstate quality, especially that twisty zone where driveways dump right into the highway and streets cross it.
It just occurred to me that somewhere Upstate might be a good place to ride out the next week or so if things go awry tomorrow night.
Any preferred Home Depot lots to park a canal boat?

I'd pick an island in some remote ADK lake.
Well that looks downright refreshing.

If we could get papapoopski to make some clams casino to go with that...

As I stated exit 4 is at mile marker number 1 just on the other side of the state line- how are they going to get 3 NEW exits in a 1 mile stretch?? (And if they were counting the other exits from Pennsylvania there are 2 exits and they use mile markers for their exits now so adding an exit is not an issue ever. Now I could see the jump from Exit # 4 to 6 if they were planning another exit as that actually has a road or 2 in that stretch that goes over or under the Interstate.... NY just needs to go to mile marker exit numbers and be done with their lack of planning properly.
If you're ever in a Tokyo residential area and trying to find a house number, you will soon realize 2 may not be between 1 and 3. If a new house was built after 2 disappeared and situated between 1 and 3, it could be 20. It keeps things fun there. The Southern Tier Expwy could do something similar. I don't envision them needing a lot of new exits for some time though.

I already have this set up and ready to go. It's ideal. Southwest flies into Albany and Syracuse. 2 free bags so you can bring provisions. I've got my spot, you should get yours. Plus, no way anyone unfamiliar with the place could survive a combination of the impending cold and gray winters, the artery destroying food, the constant drinking, and the bar fights without training. Guaranteed to repel any invading force. Safest place there is.
I have that exact same tray.
I've got to assume the latter given the time of year and the state of the canal as it's been shown to us.
Someplace that DigitalDrew would likely hole up in on a ski trip to Summit County.
There could be a need for another tribal casino in the future though, no?
This is the kind of beta that keeps us coming back here. Where to ride out post-election unrest while getting your drunken brawl on in a non-election related manner and related recipes. Probably.

Nice!
As far as the Drew thing goes, there's only one resort in CO and none in Upstate.
