    Top notch!

Sorry we didn’t get a chance to ride today. Excellent effort on the biathlon though.

If the crowds are a bunch of families with little
kids buzzing around on the pump track, I think it’s great. I loved the picnic blankets and seeing parents teaching the kids how to take turns.

Doremite and I said afterwards how we
didn’t feel like we saw a ton of people while riding, particularly for what an amazing November day it was.

Richmond is clearly a hot bed and I’m sure to someone that lives there is must seem like an invasion. Having lived in a mountain town for many years, I understand that feeling.

    Ha! Moosejaw special??

The crowd at the pumptrack is fine, I just didn’t want my dog to knock over a little kid with her over-zealous affections. Not many people out on the trails. Hope you guys had a good ride.

Some kinda Patagonia deep discount sale. Hope to catch up this winter. Awesome you hit the skis and bike on the same day. Fun ride w/ Peruvian and G showed me some new terrain. I am still learning the area and really stoked on the terrain quality so close to home.

It was really loud on the Elizabeth Islands and you could feel it. First earthquake experience for me.

Called Killington to ask a few questions on their reservation system. On potential opening, the lady I spoke to went as far as to say they have not set an opening day yet - the 14th is definitely not in the cards, and given challenging weather forecast and need for multiple ways T2B, we are looking at much later in the month.

Don't know how Sunapee can possibly make their 11/25 opening date.

Tried getting back out on the water yesterday morning. Glass. Boat wouldn't start (first time this year). Drank some coffee and went home.

    First world motherfucking problems.

Climbed Cardigan in the afternoon. The weather did not suck.

Appreciated and looking forward to it. Hopefully we can get schedules to align. I have a 6 and 4 year old so I am unintentionally spotty.

Vermont has updated Out of State travel restrictions. Vt is now requiring mandatory quarantine for all travelers into the state.

They also mentioned that they’re going to start having plain-clothes officers back out and checking on businesses to confirm compliance with state requirements. Repeat offenders will be referred to the AG. This is specifically for businesses and not individuals and the examples they gave were lodging and restaurants but I couldn’t help but wonder if they would be applying it to ski areas also.

You’re still allowed to quarantine at home.

If you plan to travel to Vermont in a personal vehicle (including a rental vehicle or private plane), you may complete either a 14-day quarantine or a 7-day quarantine followed by a negative PCR test in your home state and enter Vermont without further quarantine restrictions. Continue to quarantine until you travel to Vermont.

Which means folks will come whether or not they actually abide by the guidelines. At this point I’m convinced we are all going to get C19. It’s just a matter of time.

This is why we can’t have nice things.

BC is going to be a shotshow this winter.
