I have zero knowledge about the local politics in West but there are like what, 1500 people there? If 50% + 1 of them don't want dispensaries, there won't be.
My city said No.
Saw tax bucks around them soar.
We now have 4 stores.
Admittedly I try and not pay attention to local politics(I know I should). I hadnt heard this?
Keep hearing kalispells rep and Knudson who was telling people not to vote for it. Of course at least one of them is backpedaling already.
The day pburg gets a rec store I'd be amazed. Shit I have a buddy who has been involved in medical since the beginning and we've had conversations about him moving over and setting up but he has a pretty good gig now without dealing with the hassles involved in said enterprise.

Forbidden Fruit really packs a wallop and tastes good.
Yanked a beauty this morning. Looking forward to it.
Anyone have any good resources for the most straightforward primers on outdoor growing? As in, for beginners, that explains all the most common issues in a way a 5-year-old can understand?
1. plant seed
2. stand back
3. harvest

Growing outside is honestly pretty easy.
Its not too far different than growing any other flowering plant.
The challenges all tend to come at the end of flowering where weather, pests, mildew, and security all become critical.
This is a decent resource;

The truth of the matter is that its easy to grow good weed, its hard to grow great weed.

Considering picking up some edibles at the local shop here for the first time. How ducked up will a 5mg gummy make me with no tolerance? I need some help taking the edge off right now but also need to be functional enough if my 4yo wakes up and needs me. Don’t plan on using while actually parenting just after bedtime.
That's like asking how fucked up 1 8% IPA will get me.
Could make one person fall off a barstool and another might need 6 if both don't drink often.
Probably be fine.
Most of what i see here is 5mg. I think I will try cutting in half. Always better to err low.
I consider myself "expert-level" at edibles but accidentally took ~150 mg a few months ago (documented in this thread) and I was beyond fucked up for two days. So don't do that.
It all starts with the seed. Can't get more then what it is genetically programmed for.
I would add - 2.75 fertilize
This cannot be emphasized enough.
Do not plant random bag seeds unless u dont care what u end up with.
I strongly recommend feminized photoperiod seeds of a strain youre exited about. Buy at least 3 if u want a single plant. If u want more than one, get n + 2. Its more fun to have a few different strain but that does complicate things.
Start plants inside. 3 weeks before last day of frost will give you nice sized plants to transplant. If you want monsters start earlier. Pop them all and keep the most vigorous plant(s).
Yes, quality seeds seem expensive but for each outdoor plant u can expect at least half a pound of trimmed bud and likely much more. Ive been gifting weed to neighbors i barely know.
Use a high quality potting soil. Bone meal and blood meal are great amendments and convenient. If you use those, be aware that they attract critters, especially if u top dress.
NB: If you live somewhere near where hemp is grown commercially, the pollen will likely cause your plants to be seedy - which is why i no longer grow outside.
How sketchy are the online seed places? Is it really safe to order from them?
Obviously I am not going to be growing the dankest of the dank with my black thumb and no experience but I can grow up to 8 plants starting this spring (4 for me, 4 for my wife, so also for me) so I want to get ready. Is it insane to grow that many? Should I just start with six seeds and hope three survive? I imagine that will be all the weed I'll need for a long time, especially with about 14 dispensaries within 2 miles of my house.
Also, how do you decide which strains to grow? Are some easier to grow outside than others, or am I overthinking all of this, and I should just get a few 3-packs of seeds from varieties I like and fuckin giv'er?
