They are tanks. I've looked at a couple 23's, now they have the bracket and they're even more tank-ish than they were. The 25 would be ideal for me though, so that's where I've been focused. Well and that Albemarle express which I love but people keep trying to talk me out of buying an express and they've made me doubt it a bit.

    Otziceman-

He isn't waiting. He still hasn't listed it. He bought it as his dream dive boat, and I think he honestly doesn't want to give up on it just yet. His dive days are over, and selling this thing will remind him of that. At least that is my take. He has redone the entire boat, moved tanks around, ditched the poop tank(since he would be out 30 miles anyway), added more water storage for more wash down, redone all the thru hulls, added 2 brand new Yammis that have basically nothing but break in hours on them. I want a friend to get this boat. It is amazing- Trailer, Full, to the chines cover, brand new engines, etc. Only thing left is to remount the CC and wire it. The fact that this is the only hold up leads me to believe he is just delaying the inevitable. It will still be here in the fall, winter, maybe next fall. Let me know if you want pics and details. I think he would be in the 90 range. With new engines, that is a steal these days.

I am only getting 3% commission on this deal. I really want you in this boat!

Certainly a cocktail on the veranda as we discuss it seems warranted. Once Fl gets at least a bit of a hold on this virus deal.

Ice, just get a WorldCat dual console and get the protection of an enclosed area with the floating living room on the bow. Plus the cat ride will outperform any similar sized Regulator or that Albe. Put about 200 miles on mine yesterday.

I have kinda felt about cats the way a redneck feels about wearing a mask - somehow, oddly, I feel like they impugn my masculinity. But at least I know I should get over it. Which one do you have?

I have a worldcat 280 DCX with front and side enclosures. Did two trips to vineyard last sunday in small craft with pretty large seas. Day trip with little kids to Tashmoo and night trip for dinner at Jimmy Seas. Cruised around 33mph whole time.

I'd get the 296 if I could fit in on the dock. Much faster and better fast cruise mpg.

My cousin was out yesterday with us and I think he came to the conclusion that my boat is faster & more efficient than his 32 SeaVee except in calm conditions.

Plus it will save your bones after all those years skiing in Jeans.

With either boat, Nantucket, block island, montauk and vineyard are all easy trips for you.

Definitely like a redneck not wearing a mask. It's far superior to a V Hull.

If you dont want that old man image, open the wallet and get this.....

I gotta take a ride on one. Did you buy yours at Bosun's? Do you have a pic of yours with the enclosures on? Did you have them made or are they from them? I don't see any on their site. So many questions, sorry.

My thinking on the Albemarle has evolved a little, I've given up on the express and decided to go a more family-friendly direction (if I go this direction at all): https://www.albemarleboats.com/27-dual-console It's a sweet rig. Also still looking at Reg 25s and 28's used. There's time, I'm in no great hurry to figure it out unless a great deal comes along.

That Pursuit is nice too, but I'm resisting it for whatever reason even though it would save me some real coin. Maybe I'll come around after I talk all this over with herself.

I really liked the albemarle 27 DC but could not find one in person to see. The osterville marina was slow to show it and we were in a hurry. The skinny beam concerned me.

We bought from CJ at twin hull boats in CT. Great experience and great price. Happy to send you my price vs msrp. It's about what people are selling used ones for.

I would have considered bosuns but they were not a WC dealer at time. I looked at a pursuit at bosuns but it was tiny compared to WC.

The seas you guys have to deal with up there, a cat makes sense.
Most the times I am out running the Gulf, it is calmer than most lakes on a bust weekend.

Nice boat. If I had an extra $150K laying around and I lived next to the ocean, I would consider.

$150K would buy the engines if they're the 557's but you wouldn't have much left over. If they're the 627's you'd need more money. And then you'd need to buy the boat.

Here, just out of the harbor, it's 2-3 ft short sharp chop, sometimes on top of a decent swell, oh like 7 days out of 10 all summer. The other 3 days it's either a lake or else a storm.

Man, they're nice and all, but no way. You know what I could do with $600k? Pimp daddy Sabre 40 something foot, 20 years old or so.
Plenty of $$ left over for full Yanmar conversion and diesel for years.

The go fast to fish scene isn't me though- I 'd rather have a floating hotel that can be fished too.
Plus, wakesurfing a Sabre would be super fun. One thing I hate about outboards.

This is for sale at my marina. Went to high school with the seller's kid. I think it is his sixth Sabre and he ordered a bigger one which we will probably sell in a few years. Maintained with an open checkbook for sure.

"Proactively maintained with updates added constantly “just because” as the owner appreciates perfection. Layout features the full 3rd cabin with enclosed head. Hull was Awlgripped in 2015, electronics updated and both complete Pod units replaced in 2014 solely to update to a newer generation that had become available. "
