Racists breed racists.
Plant potatoes get potatoes.
I was talking with my friend about this today as we were out bouldering. I'm probably way far left on this whole thing (let it all burn) but without Trump we would have just continued with the institutional racism just under the surface. I'm hoping this gets younger or apathetic people to register to vote and show up for local elections and pay attention to the people who make laws on a local and federal level.

I've been observing lots of dorks out riding bikes who throw their knees out when they pedal. Mostly old guys on crapon fiber bikes pedaling three gears too high. Straight up, straight down, people.

They have to do that so their knees don’t slam into their beer belly.

It's poor fit, I notice poor fit driving by lots of riders. My girlfriend gets tired of me calling it all out.

I used to have this vision of spd heel shoes. The spd cleat is on the heel and lets you point your toes out to 9:45 and 2:15. Make sure you are sitting straight the duck up on the most jelly foamy seat they got, too.

If we're gonna wear uniforms, we should all wear somethin' different!
Nope, skiing doesn’t matter, it’s not form it’s fit, and can have significant affect on the longevity of joints and efficiency if not fit properly,

I’ve always wanted to bike Loveland pass. I think I’d probably only do it with a spotter/blocker car behind. Too much to lose hitting those switchback turns at 20mph and straights at 30-40 on a skinny wheel bike with aggro drivers behind you probably hitting the horn at the wrong moment. That said, maybe two bikes. Skinny for the up and mtn bike with semi slicks for the down.
When I road LP up wasn’t too bad dealing with cars. Down was the problem. They were too damn slow and in the way.

Seems like the gravel could be dicey. I don’t ride on pavement often.
I’d want to do the climb for sure though. Even if I cheat and use two bikes.
Only time I did Loveland Pass we hit a nice storm on the way down with 45 degree hail and a few trucks mixed in. That was pleasant.
Yeah well I’m sure motorists were a lot more cooperative back then.
Jk
My kids' frat does a cross country bike trip over 3 different routes each summer as a fund raiser. One route goes over Loveland pass and then on I70 for a short distance. One year a kid was killed by a semi that exited as the kid was passing the off ramp. After that the riders have had to exit at each ramp and then reenter. My kid did it on Sunday July 5 one year and they were making much better time than the cars.
I hate the assholes who make right turns and cut off cyclists. I don't think most people have a good concept of how long it takes to complete the turn and how fast the cyclist is coming. I don't take any chances turning into my driveway--I wait until cyclists are past if there's any chance of me cutting them off. The cars behind me get pissed. I don't care.
