KQ-that's hilarious.

I was in Shop Rite and they announce over the PA that they have a great deal on disposable masks at the checkout counter -- 10 masks for $10. I go to check out and see them and it's 10 POS paper masks that couldn't cost more than a nickle to make, and the sign says Save $5-regular price is $15. I'm thinking normal price for them would be $3.49 for the pack, but yeah, great deal.

The safeway has one way aisles marked with a big arrow on the floor. The aisle on the left end--baked goods--goes from back to front. Can't start there. The one on the right end--produce--has no arrow but the second one on the right is front to back. There is no way in that store to just go up one aisle and down the next without doing a lot of backtracking. But then nobody is paying attention to the arrows, despite the loudspeaker announcements every 5 minutes, except apparently me.

Another one--how come a shout out is a compliment but a call out is a criticism?

I cannot begin to fathom how such a thing could happen. Note--the shortbread part is prebaked before the filling is added. I saw it--it completely filled the pan and there were no holes in it.

Crack in the shortbread about halfway across pan, filling seeps underneath the one side.
