Drove by my favorite little English pub in Redmond today; damn I want their Shepherds Pie with a nice old ale, and the hilarious staff.
Two friends had babies in the last month, and I’ve only seen the little larvas via Zoom. So weird.
Another friend told me yesterday she’s pregnant; life goes on.

I honestly can't say I miss eating in restaurants or drinking in bars, and I regularly went out to eat and drink before this whole thing started. It's been revelatory, but I don't find myself craving those experiences, if anything, I'm thinking how mediocre most of them were, and how I don't see myself going back to those behaviors with anywhere near the same frequency.
I'm a better cook, my beer list is better, and unlike Chez Glade most restaurants frown on eating in your underwear and firing up a dessert joint right after the meal.

What I wouldn't give to have some minor problems right now.
Which I do, but man they seem trivial.
Had to deal with the ex losing her shit with my son.
Need to move in with me, however, girlfriend is having a nervous breakdown.
My subcontractors are MIA.
Had a couple screws in my tires (that's trivial)
Best gal pal had a nervous breakdown and is in treatment.
One of my closed friends had a severe head trauma.
Oh, and there's this whole pandemic think.
Bring on the 4 horsemen.

Mrs Wooley and me got all glove and masked up to go to a garden store we'd never been to for some plants. Most customers were masked but none of the employees were wearing them. When we were checking out Mrs asked the young guy checker why he wasn't wearing a mask. He said "It's my prerogative whether I wear a mask or not." He said "prerogative" like he was proud he knew a new word. So I start coughing pretty loud and the guy looks at me a says "If you're sick you should stay home." Mrs Wooley picks up her plants and told the checker, "If you don't care about making us sick why should we care about you." Tag team.

Oregon on lockdown until July 6
Two more months!
Wow. That’s mental. Vibes to Oregon maggots.
Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason
Seeing an increased number of OR plates in Boise too. Glad we're facing a global pandemic on a unified front.
Where did you get that from? This was published yesterday:
Governor: Oregon could reopen under 3-phase plan, but distancing likely for months to come

To be fair, I'm sure OR is seeing a lot of ID plates for the tokers who never plan ahead.
Totally unsurprised at the number of posters who bit on the "Iockdown until July 6" comment.
Oregon business can reopen May15 if the county they are in meets certain guidelines and they meet certain safety requirements.
