No I didn't...but as other countries faced similar issues long before we have one would think our government officials would have had this on their radar.

Or perhaps some of this was in the documents handed over to the tRump admin from the Obama admin. And a competent administration would have taken that information and then expanded upon it. Like in any disaster preparedness discussion, how to get the people fed should have come up. So in essence, there should be no need to write because the discussion had already been started.

This comes as I faced criticism from my boss yesterday for describing her nephew as a “little person”. I guess that’s not ok now, and we’re saying “dwarf”.
Boss was asking about my wife’s job. Then said her nephew “George” (name changed) works there in a specific role. My wife hired this dwarf, and hand made parts of his uniform at home in her own time, he’s a fundamentally unproductive employee because he’s smaller and slower than the standard amount of work you plan for for his salary, and my wife just sucks it up because having him there is a value to the community and it’s the right thing to do.

I was like: George? ...he just started there this year? He’s a little person?

She acts annoyed: “yeah”

I tell her I know who he is because my wife spent a lot of time at home working on his uniform.

She’s like: well, he’s a dwarf (lots of emphasis), and his mom does a lot of sewing.

Okey dokey then. Lesson learned: hiring disabled people is just a huge can of worms. Got it! Loud and clear! Thanks!

July 1, Bars and tattoo parlors.

August 1, group size larger than 50, out of state no longer need 14 day quarantine.

Just saw a headline saying that Trump signed an executive order to open the closed meat plants. Holy shit. Those poor workers.

Out grocery shopping for my mom in lockdown right now and it appears that W2 has given up.

Driving in I saw landscape workers standing around in groups chatting with no PPE or social distancing.

In the store I was one of very few people wearing a mask. Even saw what appeared to be a health care worker (scrub smock) with no PPE.

Stock guy, mask pulled down under his chin, flapping his gums with someone not more than 2 ft apart. People stopped in the aisle, no masks talking about getting together.

It's enough to make you think you're crazy and the whole thing is a hoax.
