To be fair, 1 is really the only thing worth skiing on a 20" day besides the ridge. And I agree re:HSQ. It is nice on chalky days when you can kill your legs in 2 hours.

Because some people like skiing and are willing to wait for a ride out of the base area. Everything else was on wind hold and they couldn't get to a different ski area.
