they do that for buses on 36 (though 36 very rarely gets so bad that they're needed).

Of course, between the twin tunnels and the 40 exit there is no breakdown lane.

I’m scheduled to check out at Snowmass on Thursday. Trying to extend the stay another day. I’m at the mercy of the Marriott overlords to make it happen. If not, I’ll driving through the teeth of the storm. So, how many closures will I face? Vail pass for sure will close. Shitshow up to the tunnel. Maybe something coming down from Genesse.
