I picked up some new protests, my bad. I pulled the same move last season, but they were skis for the wife. Did not dump again after they landed on the doorstep, true story.

49%n rainslop surfin at it's finest yesterday (I luv my Eldo) in 8" of mank that sent most skiers to the lodge and most soft booters over the handle bars
donned the full rubber suit for the puddle chairs and skied on (like my own private ski area) for endless falline bottom turns down waves of sticky slush, I attribute this "singing in the rain" day to 10yrs of living at snoqrummy pass for the madd mank skills

I asked a friend who's a mountain host, good skier if he had ANY happy turns today, he said no,
I told him "you should take up snowboarding, I had lots."

Or tell him to buy one of the two pair of protest in GS as they absolutely slay those conditions....
I would be up protesting today but taking the family to Missoula for my kids competition.

To be fair, wasn't Brundage getting that, too?

Funny you mention Snoqualmie, I'm pretty sure that's the last place I voluntarily skied anything as bad as yesterday. Convinced us to mount a Canadian invasion today instead.

Confirmed. A lot of the mountain is closed due to the conditions off-piste. It was rock-solid yesterday.

Yeah, it was a nice day up there but it was really limited. I skied Friday (in the rain...) and Saturday (in the wind...) and both days were better than yesterday, even though it was beautiful. But like I told my friends, I didn't care if I skied on asphalt so long as I skied in the sun since I haven't seen the sun in a month so, it was worth it.

The conditions were bad enough that not only was the North Bowl closed completely and South Ridge from the top of the triple, south but even runs like Caboose, Trial Run and others were closed. If it wasn't groomed (ice rink), it was mostly closed. Crazy weird weekend.
