Going to Silver tomorrow. Did anybody go today? Mt. Spokane was foggy and heavy. Hopefully tomorrow isn’t today’s repeat.

The 80 min download which included a 50 minute stop due to a down tree on power lines was extra special, never rained on me, and upper Mtn provided some sweet turns, won't rehash the lower Ch 3.
Getting started early this year! Not even a week in to their season and patrons are being stranded on lifts. Silvers gonna silver
mulligan granted. the clock has been reset and I look forward to hearing about the next 45min+ lift closure.
My cabin had just gone past the tree that went down and I heard it the loud bang from the power line and some metallic noises, when I got off the couple in the cabin behind me saw the whole thing. Even watched the Avista crew go in and out plus the chainsaw,. Second longest stop in 21 seasons.
That’s crazy! Always carry provisional supplies for the gondola stranding. No smoking in cabin unless stranded!
I heard about it and so glad I went back to sleep. I’m not worried about smoking or anything like that but using bathroom would have been my top concern especially when you don’t know how long you are going to be stuck there... there was no communication right?

We were on chair 2 when it stopped. I had just finished run number 5 and met a group at the bottom of 2 for their first ride up, stopped about a quarter of the way up. None of us dressed very warm given the 45 degree Temps in Kellogg. We were planning our escape by the time it started rolling.... For the record there was communication for those of us on the chair, ski patrol came down and let us know and made sure no health issues. Handing out free tickets on the top. Not helpful for pass holders, but they didn't need to provide anything. Figure I can being a friend up sometime. Took about 3 runs to thaw out.
