standard protocol = show up about 7am, turn the stoner rock up to 11 don't touch the radio until we leave. all the other trades, the general and the homo know it is non-negotiable. if the rock box is off, we don't work.
Pretty funny. First thing I do when I walk in is unplug the radio. If someone is listening to the dead fish or some other hippie shit music I make some one else turn it off since I don't want aids.

My hearing is toast and music makes it hard to do my job

Yeah. It is situational. Trim carpentry is just not real compatible with other trades, specially when I'm on bid rate. We got 16' material and I have to cut both ends. We work in the stairs and the door ways. We make a lot of noise and dust. If I fuck up it gets expensive. It is the best way I've found to carve out our space. New construction is such a cluster fuck these days.

When I'm the GC, I let the trade pick the tunes but no jamb bands or classic rock. Period. I'd rather here a song suck for the first time that hear it suck for the millionth time.

hmm it worked for me.... just made an edit.

i'm liking the new album but admit several songs sound a little too much the same. still very good. i don't think any of the old kyuss boys can do any wrong.

Man, that is sig worthy. Nothing worse than a job site with classic rock terrestrial radio greatest hits. Other than the jam band endless noodle space jam session.

Bump, it's been too long. There's a new Red Fang album, found out thanks to a beer purchase.
