Any of you locals know the regulations for boats on those stretches in the park?

Motors allowed (if not used)?

Happy to work on finding another vessel for those stretches as the one I will be towing has a jet and kicker mounted to the transom.

That boat will fit right in on the South Fork. I remember standing on the dock with Tye1on and a jet powered drift boat showed up, I was like "WTF ?".

Moving on to GTNP Regs: link says no motors on the Snake in the park. Not sure the exact interpretation. Moose: you should call the river Rangers, number is in link below.

More importantly link says no dogs in boats on the Snake in the park. Tye: is that true ? Would suck if Sheldon and Lola could not join us. They are maggots too.

That's all true. Only stretch you could probably sneak a motor on with any confidence would be from Flagg down as you'd need it for the lake.

I feared that was the case in the park.

Updating the power drifters participation status to a no go. Crushed the jet on a hidden gem while on step on the Clearwater last weekend. She will be in tow for work in the south before returning north for further treatment. I am happy to walk and wade. Like Harry said “I don’t care where we fish, I’m just stoked to be on a river with friends”

Also, that Saturday morning is the local ski swap. MK, we might hit that early to see any sweet deals. It's the place for cheap Race boards: DH, SG, GS and usually the cheapest deals anymore. Hundreds of normal folk skis too and tons of gear and clothing.

The weekend weather in Jackson is looking spicy for sure.

Never been to the Fonts. Shiiiit since I’m already South I could push further south and east to join the festivities in a dryer climate with some sun.

Totally open to joining/moving the gathering south, if there is room for my ass. I would roll from IDFalls boat-less and tell them to hold the beat up and fully stripped down (no oars, seats etc as they have to flip her over and do some welding) aluminum beast for me till Monday and pick her up when I am heading north.

If Dibs or anyone else could send me some details (location) on the campground/put in so I can gather more info on the road in and clearance requirements that would be appreciated.
