Wydaho Circle jerk

Arrived at fish camp rendezvous and found Djongo and Fugitive enforcing safety protocol around a nice campfire. Chef Fugi soon had steaks on the gridle, with baby potatoes and summer squash. Safety was again a hot topic after dinner around the campfire. Lola the pup was great company. Tomorrow we fish.

Elk sausage and eggs for breakfast. The elk was shot by a Montana maggot who was unable to attend.

We ended up with 3 boats (2 drift boats and 1 raft with fishing frame) and 6 maggots. We decided to do 2 three person drift boats and leave the raft behind due to the high wind.

This is a beautiful river. That is the JH Crew, L to R Djongo, schwerty, Kokomas.

Winner of the most fish of the day award hands down went to mini-Fugitive. That kid is a fishing machine.


The OP of this thread, Underoos, was a no show. Somehow we managed to be #HUGE without him. We need more stickers ! Kokomas especially needs a sticker.



KQ asked for photos of men's legs. These pasty white sticks belong to The Fugitive, who was changing his waders. I had permission to take this slutty pic.

There was some drama on the boat ramp at the take out due to some dipshit who did not have his shit dialed. Dude needs to watch this instructional video on boat ramp etiquette.

Harry made nice with the campground mistriss who send him over the river and through the woods for propane. Elk sausage deserves a nice pan sear and eggs n cheese. Lola lived her best life. My gromm nymphed white tuna all day. Had some eats on bwo dries but didnt seal the deal. Rocked a spin to win in dibb's honor but nobody pio'd thanks to our adherence to proper safety protocals. For not landing the big ones Team Jaxin Hole Prostaff sure had the rod bent everytime we floated by. Nice to meet you schwerty and kokomas next time we will bring the shitshow to your hood. DJongo you are welcome in my boat anytime.

I'd like to thank our spancers Telee, SFB, 2 betties, hugeflyfishermen and Whiteclaw. Without them none of this would have been possible

Yeah, I did not want to call you out, but you should probably watch Underoo's video too. Although his video is about boat ramp etiquette, your issue is technique. :firedevil:

The old guy I was talking about is someone who definitely needs etiquette training. I was driving The Fugitive's truck pulling Telee's trailer, so I did not to scratch any thing. And that fucker had the whole parking lot blocked. I thought Djongo was going to kick his ass.

Bonus: the trailer you hit was that fuckheads. Karma for him.

That's my stomping grounds. That's some of the prettiest farm country in the whole damn world. Some of the best sharptail grouse country, too. Plus a few decent rivers. All those canyon fishing pics I post are from just a little ways west of this spot.

Coming into it from the SW when your still above the snake and there are just rolling hills of perfect wheat (or whatever it is). Not a strand out of place for miles. I was captivated.

I have a good idea of what there is above the bridge, next time exploring conant to heise or something like that, seems like it might be less boaters, definitely less beaters

The pic I selected isn't from the SF area. Harry took his road pic when he crested the high ground in north Teton county on hwy 32. That's the Henry's Fork watershed. The view out the passenger window is even better:

Not fishing. As you said, kind of shitty weather over the weekend. The wind is no bueno. Went fishing again this morning though. Right now, the primo sight fishing is on calm, sunny mornings, 9 to 12. Tricos in the foam lines. Its all about hunting those fatties cruising along the weed beds. Mmmmmmmm.....look at that glassy smooth water. 8ft vis. You can spot a fish a mile away.
