Where, at any point, did I say that it was "intended to be ignored?" What I said was: most people won't read it...much like all kinds of fine print we see every day...and NEVER read. And, I also wrote that it was a guess based on life experiences as I've never been there. And I also wrote: I'm happy to be wrong.

As far as what people wear or being naked...are you thinking I'm someone else? I don't remember commenting on anyone's attire...and I'd don't ever recall associating anyone's clothes being about sex. And who the fuck said anything about women walking around naked or that they shouldn't be respected? You made that shit up in your disillusioned head.

As for photos: I don't recall posting pictures of anyone except: my wife, my kid, my dog, some snow, and my bike...so fuck right off with your righteous indignation.

When you look at everything through the lens that sex is bad (which you seem to do) then everything will appear to be about negative sex. I can assure that I don't (and most others don't) think that way. But, others have pointed this out, ad nauseam, so I expect this will fall on deaf ears and you'll prattle on about how I'm just part of the patriarchal norm and never realize that your problem is: you.

Well, Sperry’s parent company did $537MM of sales in Q2 so you’re definitely winning the game of hide and seek from all those boat shoe wearing types.

I will admit that $537MM would seem to be a lot of Topsiders in circulation. And unfortunately I do live in the part of town where I witnessed at least one pastel colored shorts type displaying his sockless loafered legs this summer. But for all I know the Topsiders parent company is GE or Haliburton, so maybe not that many Topsiders to be seen after all?

Anyway, lived/worked on Nantucket for many years so got more than my fill of the sockless boat shoe wearing crowd. Bonus points for Nantucket Red colored shorts in combination.

Missed the Q2 part, so potentially over $2bn in Topsider sales/year. Who knew (aside from BMills, apparently)?
