22... I think that's it.
That is absolutely horrifying.
I couldn't get past bubba's Dremel work on the front strap.
That's stippling, not a dremel. Some people love it. I wouldn't pay to have it done.
There is a ton going on those three.
smith and wesson sight
barrels
oversized slide releases
grips
the narrowed skeleton hammer on the mk2 I thought was a bigger mess than the stippling
funnel mag well - that was a bitch but looked clean under the grip
beaver tail - super well done
ambi safeties
np3+
extended slide release
one off wide trigger
the drain hole on the mk2
I know what stippling is, I also know what it looks like when bubba gets together with a Dremel and a rack of keystone's.
Austin Behlert was an accomplished pistol smith. His son in law Art Leckie wasn't bad either.

The gun was made in 1982. It has a one off ambi safety, a wide target trigger, clean recessed sights and a very well done beaver tail. For the day his stippling was at least on par. (Granted I don't really care for it.) Shortened smith and wesson's and colt's came directly from his modified guns. Why would two huge names copy work from a drunken no talent?
I like the gun more than my svi.
The mk2 was done by an intelligent person, it looks like it was a Israeli police gun that got an np3+ coat, a barsto barrel, hogue grips and some trigger grips. Its not on par with the behlert though.
The funnel gun was done by a comp shooter name omberger or something, has was not a talented smith other than decent work on the sights and funnel. Why shoot a marginally accurate gun in comps, I have no idea. The hammer was stupid, the funnel is odd, the smith sights work well and the action was nice. Its going away this weekend.
Was inventing the shaped ski a sin?
No but putting 22's and rubber bands on a '69 Chevelle SS is. But at the least, like the sta-puft hogue grips, someone with some sense can put it back to what it should be. Not so much for the stippling on the front strap. Name drop all you want, but that's pure hackery.
The finger notches though, should be punishable by death.
Anyone ever tried to do the 5x5 rd groups 1 MOA thing? It's harder than you might think. I've never been successful with a gas gun, but managed a .59 MOA series with a bolt gun a few weeks ago. These were rounds 21-45 out of the barrel on a fairly windy day. POI shift was from installing a big brake on the barrel. It's one hell of a lesson in barrel harmonics.

Nice shooting! Was it 100 yards? I generally shoot off-hard, so my groups tend to be all over.
Your dog just ate an avocado!
6.5 Cd the shit.
Nice groups
Lot more barrels in that caliber available.

If I had a dollar for every time capitalism was blamed for problems caused by the government I'd be a rich fat film maker in a baseball hat.

I gave my 15 year old daughter a nice and sharp machete' to keep her company while she's home alone. Older brother's at boy scout camp and there have been several break ins around town where the crook didn't realize school was out so cars gone doesn't mean everyone is gone on a weekday.
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!
