Really love my 1960's Japan built Winchester 101. A little heavy for some, but it fits me like a glove

    GUNS!!!!!!!!

    The turkey specialist

Magazine fed Remington 870. It’s a “cheap” fun coming from beretta and benelli’s but it patterns great

Enjoy my Wheelies. I carried a 66 when I was a wildlife officer and still have it. Trading on a .41 Magnum Smith but haven't picked it up yet. Not a big fan of Colt revolvers, but picked up a 6" blued Python the other day fairly cheap.

I’m amazed at all the old, lnib, SW revolvers for sale out there.

I think I’m going to snag a Snubby next.

New to me genuine 1944 Izzy PU sniper Mosin Nagant. Had it to the range, it shoots well but the scope may need some tlc. Been looking for one for a long time.

It irritates the fuck out of me that people are buying and selling these as "investments". and never shooting them.

It strikes me that Pythons are an "investment" much the same way as Beanie Babies were an investment at the height of their popularity. That bubble is gonna crash, mark my words. and you're gonna be pissed you paid $5k for a handgun thats worth like $750

Unfortunately it is supply and demand, speculators fuck up a lot of things not only for themselves but for everyone.

Fortunately there are other less costly options.

Naw, vintage guitars would be a better comparison than Beanie Babies. Same goes for late 60s and early 70s Cudas. All have a practical purpose but instead sit idle with the owners hoping they'll be able to sell the item for a significant profit in 10 years. All these things are items that any one of us regular fools would actually USE if we could get our hands on them. Beanie Babies have no practical purpose going to waste due to investor hoarding.

I don't think python prices are going down. They may stagnate a little. Who knows though.

What about the nugget market. They use to be borderline free. Curious what SB paid for his

The PU was under $700, a steal for today. Standard refurbd Mosins are floating around $350 these days with variations bringing more depending on rarity. As issued bringing the top premium.

PU snipers start at 1K and go up from there. The PEM snipers start around 2K and up.

My rifle is traceable from the Russians to the Poles and possibly to Albania where they were imported from in the late 90s.

I just picked up another two spam cans of light ball 7.62x54r and will be shooting my other three extensively along with the PU this summer.

People spend more on a shitty Rolex. Much more.

Those revolvers will never be made again.

I’d much rather put 5% of my portfolio into stuff I like rather than stupid stocks.

Most people get more utility hours out of a rolex. job interviews, meeting with important clients, going to church, on and on. pretty much all day, every day except busting your knuckles under the truck hood. Only place most people will rock a gun to use or show off is on the wall at home or at the range.

FWIW, I've never owned a Rolex and don't want one.

Been away fishing. $1,600 for the Python. Deep blue, mid 70's vintage, lightly fired. I will shoot it a bit. Also have a stainless that I have shot some. Both 6" guns.

I've shot a Citori built in 1984. I like it well enough. It's really solid and dependable, which is nice, and is an attractive firearm. In 12ga it's a little heavy for my taste, but it certainly swings well.

I'm definitely not saying the Red Label is superior, and I know from internetting that folks either love it or hate it (both for justifiable reasons I think). But I love mine, even though it hasn't been hassle-free.

Not a big fan of them, but I can flip it and make $1,000.

One of my bosses was let go this morning so I decided to take the rest of the day off to ponder my future with the company. Thought I would let off some steam at the range so went to pick up some ammo and left with a new Glock 20 and CZ Scorpion Evo 3 carbine. It was a good day! Gonna put some furniture on the new pcc and post up some pics. Should be a fun shooter. And the 10mm is going to replace my .44 mag when I trek around in bear country. Might also be my new ccw.
