Looking like I should be here Monday/Tuesday for some southern skiing.
The Lamb Stew at the hondo is solid. Thanks

Corn is ripe, my friends. Everywhere skiing top notch. If you’re thinking about it come on down.
++++Vibes++++ to the Taos Community.
If you don't know, just go to the taos news website...

formerly an ambassador for a few others, but the ski industry is... interesting.
Fukt: a very small amount of snow.
I’m guessing grskier is talking about the second one on the list. Patrick Larkin was a pillar of that community. He will be missed.
Changing subject.....planning my first trip to Taos this winter. My brother has fled the i70 mess of Denver for Albuquerque so I am visiting at some point this winter. Any advice much appreciated.
Wait until they have a decent snowpack. Try to stay hydrated. Hike Katchina peak.
it’s also much less work to take the chair
Eske shut down the brewery?
Yeah, I'm not drinking green chilli beer no matter where I am. And I don;t hike when there's a lift available (though I have been known to skin).
Thanks for info on the snow. Taos seems very dependent on the southern storm track, and that track is not as reliable as the northern track that would hit the SLC areas and central/northern CO.
Any decent and not outrageously priced hotel options?
Abominable Snow Mansion.

Looks like they dropped the ‘Abominable’.
There are a couple of cheap places in town too, with a lot more to do at night.
Would love to ski Taos this year. On EPIC, ya?
