"Please leave at home or in your vehicle, equipment that is restricted and prohibited such as snowboards, split boards, snow bikes, ski blades, saucers, lurks or anything longer than a regular ski pole. "

    Nowhere do they mention snosk8s

but also... "Skis need to have metal edges, retaining devices and bindings that face forward and attach to alpine or nordic ski boots." So fuck you, too, tele skiers

You know guys, if you have a serious interest in those skis...it’s not a museum, it’s theoretically a shop that theoretically sells those...I’m 100% sure he’d ship.

My experience asking for prices on stuff was he’s way high and content to have literally 10s of thousands of pairs of skis sitting there not selling, but you could give’r a shot. Ski trucks Salt Lake City.

Unmounted 212 RD Valdez Extremes in the plastic.

Dozens of old school long length full tip GS skis. Dozens of newer SG and DH.

The big challenge with some of this stuff is it’ll be laid against a wall 50 yards long and 5 feet deep of skis...big ones in the rear, so the ones you most want to fondle are literally like 15 or 20 minutes of shucking throwaway 1997 rental skis to even see if the ski’s mounted or drilled.

Owner of that place is literally insane. Thinks all those 20-30 year old skis are still worth $200+. When that place goes out of business the sale will be all time though.

Props for the Maggot Courier Service. ~850 miles for this one? Nice!

If it helps anyone else, next week I will be driving from Telluride/CrestedButte to KickingHorse/Fernie, through SLC.

What a weekend. Moving past the fact I left my wallet at the SLC airport when flying out (I wasn’t even drunk which is a minor miracle in itself)...

Thanks to dibs and his wife for hosting on Friday night. Great people, great food. Thanks to jtran and phallll for showing peeps around altuh. And thanks to Yeti for making breakfast, driving my ass around and bringing me to BobMc’s tailgate (thank you BobMc for the wine...and thanks to fuckyoucat for the beer/wine can combo). Thanks to Ice (aka “My Name is Fuck You”) for hosting my ghetto ass too. Ice I’m 2 days sober shooting for 4 so beat that.

Met a lot of good peeps, first- flowing alpy, Bobby thanks for pulling it all together. Truly a big effort and much appreciated. I’ll definitely miss some people but...tri-ung, muted, whyturn, mooseknuckle, yeti’s bro from another mo sirvic, tha fugitive, his bro from another mo gepeto-(hope that vape pen worked for you on Sunday afternoon), schindlerpiste and that flowing salad on top of his head. Norseman, Galen, splat, fucking Claymond! Fucker doesn’t even ski and he shredded altuh! Vtf my “buddy”. Fuck. Djongo broseph pleasure hanging with you again! East or bust- thanks for convincing me to ski/bringing me skis on Friday after I got off that flight. I was hungover and you guys cured it.

Great times! Looking forward to skiing you guys again

It's an 8' piece of flexible dryer duct I got from Home Depot, snipped one end to expose the wire and fashioned a hook to clip onto the vent. The material between the wire coil is literally like tin foil and tears easily, need to get a new piece and tape the seam to prevent it coming apart. Otherwise it works incredibly well

    Question

    Welp...shit.

I know he’s a snowaddict because he still has fun scraperizing the variety of hardpacks we sampled while playing Find The Gepeto yesterday.

Then we all set out to Find Some God Damn Unfrozen Snow

Good times! Somehow I found even more crust and ice today! You picked a good time to head out I thinks. Hopefully you made it through all the flooding alright.

It was sweet watching the guy do this line, but he actually got crushed on the runout. He skied it well before that point, with some good speed.
