How will you know if someone is a triathlete, vegan, engineer, cooks Sous Vide, or uses CBD?

    Do worry, they'll tell you.

I've been following this thread. I ordered some CBD salve from Joy Organics, but also thinking about ordering some of the oils and salve from Kat's Naturals, Booner mentioned he's using their products. I'm in Idaho, so has to be THC free. Super curious to try and see if it helps me with chronic tendonitis.

Pretty sure Coconut oil is the only carrier.

Unless specifically asked I contain my discussion of CBD to this thread because we all know how obnoxious it can be when people preach unsolicited advice/info no matter what the subject. When I am asked I try to direct people to sources of information so they can make their own decisions.

I hope I didn't offend. It wasn't intended as a dig at you or anyone. Just trying to be funny. The various divisions of weed threads we have on here are a wealth of good info, per TGR usual SOP.

My gf might have hit on a little cbd goldmine. She broke her leg skiing in seven places about 12 days ago, spiral fracturing her tib/fib, with five fractures of her tibial plateau that required a bone graft to rebuild. So, she's basically in a shitload of pain, leg elevated after three days in the hospital. She started on oxy, went to norcos, then had a friend put my cbd creme on her ankle, which she also twisted then, later, on the bottom of her feet. She said 10 minutes after doing her feet, she got a soothing rush and had to lay down and just drop inward to a beautiful zone. So I put some on my sore shoulder and also the soles of my feet today and it seemed to really uptake nicely. Anyways, here's a pic of her leg:

Ouch! Hope she heals up fast. Tib/fib is my worst nightmare! I had a good scare at JH a few weeks ago. I hit a weird ridge probably left by a groomer under a foot of powder and it caught my ski. My ski stopped, I kept moving and I thought "here is where I break my tib/fib." Luckily my binding released at the last sec, but I had to lay there for a minute to decide if anything was possibly broken. Just sprained my ankle, which is still a little sore.

    Thanks for the pm Splat!

Yet another article with some good info:

How to use CBD for Arthritis & Joint Pain

Which one of you posers posed for this pic?

I posted this in the vaping thread but seems appropriate here too.

What’s The Perfect Temperature for Vaping Cannabis?

    Boiling Points of Other Cannabinoids
CBD evaporates at anywhere between 320°F and 355°F (160-180°C) depending on strain and the amount of water in the plant – the same temperature that THC boils off. Thus, it can be difficult to separate out THC highs vs CBD highs by temperature alone. You’re better off choosing a strain with more of one cannabinoid than the other. That said, if you are looking for CBD for health purposes, you will need to turn up your vape mod high enough to release it.

Anti-nausea users should go to at least 355°F (180°C) to maximize release of Delta-8-THC, the cannabinoid most responsible for the anti-nausea properties of cannabis. Temperatures above 365°F (185°C) begin to release cannabinoids associated with relaxation like CBN. CBG requires temperatures above 390°F (200°C) to get released, with maximum release at around 445°F (230°C). THCV and CBC begin to vaporize as temperatures breach 425°F (220°C). We have also written an extensive discussion about the medical benefits of different cannabinoids.

Worldwide CBD market expected to hit $5 billion by 2022, $7 billion in 2023, which explains why so many people are talking about it. Just found an ailment it cures that no other product can touch. it's exciting that every day it seems it fixes something else in humans.

FKNA, schwerty! Gf taught me how to make lotions and salves just a few days before she did her leg and I ended up finishing that first batch just in time for her healing. Last night I rubbed down my shoulder and knee and had my neighbor rub it on my spine, then ate a dab of my simpson oil and had the most pleasant dream state evah while sleeping. Swear to gawd.

Rub that on your sacrum, schwerty. Just keeps getting better, though it's a jones to get back to the initial high of so much relief, I've found.

The CBD only batch I made contains 2000 mg of CBD, the herbs and oils, etc (just no thc) and it is fukking awesome. I bumped the CBD content for lack of the thc entourage influence and was blown away at how smooth the relief is. In addition to what the gf taught me, I did an online cosmetological lotion class with some Euro institute and read up on emulsifiers and binders (learned about stuff like the Ostwald ripening process and the diff between emulsifying water and oil based solutions). Pretty sure I'll continue to improve each batch as I go forward. It's so cool to make my own potion in lieu of sucking that vicodin dick of self poisoning.

My friend Veronika has a site offering a shitload of goodies here: http://thegreenprivilege.com/tgpcata...YE2DeM_NB2cZwU

She has a lab and factory and we might start working together on my cream.

Interesting, yet inconclusive article on research indicating thc value in medical usage.

Splat - how much THC do you think is in your current test batches?

Dunno, really. I did as a test to compare to the cbd only version. The thc/cbd version is at 1500 mg. I put 2000 mg in the cbd only and it really fukkin works. That extra 500 mg of cbd turned out to add quite a punch to the pain killing. Not sure how much thc is needed for the entourage effect, so keeping it below the legal threshholds might be good or might not matter as much as they say.
