Wow. Time to sic the donkey on that driver for a solid kick in the nads. What a jerk! Can't believe it took so long for you to (kinda) get your order.

    Fokkers! lmfao.

Goat - sorry to hear all this Chute 75 misfortune. I took a young guy in there once after a slide and he went headfirst into a frozen block of avy debris and cracked it in half. Thought he'd broken his neck but, no, the young are far more resilient than us old fucks. My gf being a case in point. If you want any herbacious advice (not pot) there are some essential oils that really helped heal my broken back. I did C3 as well and it still haunts me to this day but has been feeling a whole shitload better with cbd. Props on the attempted single pole turnaround attempt! I've only had to do it once and the sliding descent was fukkin scary as hell headfirst looking up knowing there were trees ahead.

Tried to arrest but the pole broke. Not sure how far i went. If i might have tumbled, what if anything i hit. My arms were paralyzed at first but got better in a few minutes. 4 patrol showed up. I couldn't see much lying on my back--my back hurt and i knew not to move -- but I know patrol had a rope out and some kind of tripod and the were very nervous about their stance. Took a long time to get me packaged up but the sled ride was uneventful. T3 was crushed and I had a spinal fusion. Xrays showed only arthritis in my neck so not sure what the paralyzed arms were about, probably some temporary nerve compression from chronic cervical stenosis like I have in the lumbar area. 4 rib fractures and a minor acetabular fracture. I'm no worse off now then I was before the accident except for pain and not being able to do anything until I heal. I have the go ahead to ski next season but it's time to dial it back. A shame because 75 is my favorite squaw run. I feel very lucky to be alive, no head injury, not paralyzed. Yes. I was wearing a helmet.

My 12yo (13 tomorrow, fuck...) daughter picks the crispy bits off her bacon. I feel a little absurd lecturing her about eating ALL of her bacon....

So I like my bacon soft and creamy, not chewy. And not crispy (aka burnt). I'd eat it raw if I wasn't so deeply programmed (brainwashed) to treat raw pork like a level 4 biohazard.

I'm not sure about that. My wife had a tibial plateau fracture--the worst of several knee injuries that led to having both knees replaced. She recently broke her distal radius and ulna. 6 weeks in a cast, didn't heal properly, minimal use of her hand, headed for surgery as soon as I'm able to look after myself and her. OTOH I'm pretty sure I'll be back to pre-injury status once I heal up.

BTW she broke her arm getting out of the spa, so while I should probably dial it back I'm not sure it makes much difference.

Sounds like I got lucky. Surgery on the tib (cadaver bone) and wore a soft brace. My wrist was set and they put a cast on my entire arm (arm looked like I was doing a shadow puppet of a goose). I did have to be in a wheel chair for two months since I didn't have use of my entire right side but I was skiing seven months later and have full use of both with no lingering issues ( doing yoga, skiing, hiking etc. etc.)

I did have a lot of intense physical therapy.

I'll avoid spas like the plague and ski like a bat out'a hell then.
Whew - that makes me feel all better now.

People that work their way up towards the front of the lift line maze, only to decide they're going to wait for their friends that are at the back of the line. So they sorta step to the side and clog everything up.

She started on oxy, went to norcos, then had a friend put my cbd creme on her ankle, which she also twisted then, later, on the bottom of her feet. She said 10 minutes after doing her feet, she got a soothing rush and had to lay down and just drop inward to a beautiful zone. So I put some on my sore shoulder and also the soles of my feet today and it seemed to really uptake nicely. Anyways, here's a pic of her leg:

Last night I rubbed down my shoulder and knee and had my neighbor rub it on my spine, then ate a dab of my simpson oil and had the most pleasant dream state evah while sleeping. Swear to gawd.

Rub that on your sacrum, schwerty. Just keeps getting better, though it's a jones to get back to the initial high of so much relief, I've found.

The CBD only batch I made contains 2000 mg of CBD, the herbs and oils, etc (just no thc) and it is fukking awesome. I bumped the CBD content for lack of the thc entourage influence and was blown away at how smooth the relief is. In addition to what the gf taught me, I did an online cosmetological lotion class with some Euro institute and read up on emulsifiers and binders (learned about stuff like the Ostwald ripening process and the diff between emulsifying water and oil based solutions). Pretty sure I'll continue to improve each batch as I go forward. It's so cool to make my own potion in lieu of sucking that vicodin dick of self poisoning.
