Recreation.gov. They recently transitioned to a new website. A number of campsites have basically disappeared. When I tell them that, they say "oh, those sites must be reserved for walk-ups" even though walk-up sites still show on their system. Or they say "oh, the agency must have decommissioned those sites or have them down for maintenance", even though I went to these campground in late summer and know that isn't the case. When I tell them that they need to have a system to log tickets re errors and contact the agency to investigate errors, I get told "we just put in our system what the agency tells us, you need to contact the agency". So basically, data entry errors are the consumer's problem.

And now I have a response from the agency, who says it's not their problem either. FFS. I am not one who bitches about government workers at all, and as pointed out by Meadow Skipper, I should have sympathy for those hurt by the shutdown, but seriously, the system is fucked up and nobody seems to give a crap, and all they keep doing is foisting blame on someone else.

The reason this irritates me so is I want to reserve a couple of sites at a small (and in demand) campground, so the fact that 4 sites are completely missing (along with 4 coded as "walk-up") makes it impossible to reserve 2 sites next to each other.

Jeebus, we've already covered the "first world problems" thing, don't disagree. Though I'm not sure why wanting to reserve campsites is the subject of derision. When I'm pulling a camper for a 4+ hour drive, with a kiddo and 2 dogs (and wife), I don't think I'm doing something wrong by wanting to ensure that I have a site waiting for me. And when I am using a website whose very and sole purpose is to facilitate that, don't think I'm wrong in being annoyed that it doesn't.

Ordered a blend door kit for my truck as Dodge makes shitty blend doors that break. A part was machined incorrectly. Called up the door company, dude said he would overnight the part ASAP and apologized for their mistake repeatedly. Now that’s customer service. Well the part was supposed to be here by 11am. It’s almost 6 and no part. My buddy, ase cert master mechanic has my dash apart in his shop with other vehicles needing to get in. He does this on the side now. Now it looks like my truck won’t be done until late this weekend even if the part gets here tomorrow due to other vehicles scheduled. FUCK YOU UPS!
If you do need new blend doors for your rig, Blend Door USA is an awesome company. Sure they miss machined one part but the doors are cnc machined and somehow one small part snuck through QC. My buddy has installed several of their door kits and this is the first one with an issue, my luck.
