Well that rig should be easy to find.
I’ll be back out tomorrow. Might even line up at 6 early.
What's the story there?
Traffic update anyone?
Heading to Squalpine for a homecoming. Giddy up!
Snowing on rose from lake effect off pyramid. Talk about recycled pow.

Wow.
The fabled *sleeper pow day* at Rose.
We deserve it!

I’ve been in stuck in SF the last couple weeks while you guys have been doing laps every day down to the valley. Finally got my turn today and it’s still in fantastic shape. Good snow to the ski out. Sick times. Thanks for leaving me plenty of fresh turns, I hate crossing tracks.

Another great empty day out at the wood. Skied recycled pow lines bell to bell. Eagle Was surprisingly filled in.
Jorian, how were the lines at Heavenly today? Did all the lifts run?
Looks like I might finally be a tour guide there tomorrow.
Fine day at Alpine; no fresh tracks or anything, but snow quality is still outstanding, in certain places especially. Busy enough to fill chairs much of the day, not busy enough for lift lines.
Tomorrow’s officially “sunny” on the forecast, and it’s borderline-weekend, so we’re expecting medium-crowded tomorrow.
Re “ski week”, yes, everywhere that I know of on the SF peninsula is off this week as well. Including my kid, who skied from opening bell until closing time.
Seemed like everything was running. Mott’s was for sure. I didn’t really stay though. Cal lodge was still full when I pulled up around 1pm, with a half dozen or so other cars circling. I went straight to the top and out, didn’t feel like skiing inbounds at all.
Kind of surreal to sleep until a normal time, drive on clear, fast roads the whole way up, and then ski a few thousand feet of nearly untracked cold pow.
Probably even nicer to do that without the four hour commute.
I bet Kirkwood sidecountry is sweet as well. And pretty much everything else too until Sunday.
Jasurf’s pics reminded me that Treth’s 10 year angelic birthday is coming up. Never met the guy but just wanted to say I’m thinking about his friends and family who are poking around these forums. I know he still means a lot to a lot of people.
Keep up the good work everyone, ski with zeal and come home to your loved ones.
