    Sandpoint is a very dangerous place, don't risk your life. Take the train overnight to Whitefish. No money spent on lodging and you can drink all the way there and home via the rolling pub.

    Quality Inn. Dirtbag price and within 6 or 7 blocks from downtown bars. One note; right next to railroad tracks so can be a little noisy.

    People were murmuring “dust on crust” in the lift lines but I was finding a whole lot more.

    We may come Thursday/friday with the camper but with the forecasted temps may stay and ski more local... The wife says she's up for it but being pregnant and having a 1.5 year old running around sounds challenging.

    The trick was elevation yesterday at Silver had some great skiing, but you could feel the crust .

    Yeah only top few turns were ok at lookout. Crusty at the bottom 2/3 of the mountain.
