You're fucking kidding me. I used to swear to Iceman that it was Jer.

Too fucking funny, man. Hope to meet you IRL one day. I'll be in LCC for a week starting tomorrow.
Jer is a weird situation for me...I mean, that’s sort of my name, and he purported to be from Green Bay, which is a ways from here but is “the city” for the central U.P. where I’m from, and he was a Utard at one point, same as me, and he posted a decent mt bohemia thread, which is kind of where I get my good skiing in now. It’s a lot....and I’ve never met the guy.
It’s weird...if I weren’t me, I’d swear one of us was the other’s alias. I was sure when I moved back here I’d eventually meet that guy but he disappeared.

other people i care about that are probably not high on your lists: Hugh, Cyber Cop. I also want to know if Blurry11s now thinks global warming is real (or whether he still thinks the plane doesn't take off)

oh, yah, and that frozenwater dude.
Cybercop cracked so many jokes and talked enough smack I wasn't sure they were real, but we corresponded about something or other years ago and fairly sure it was a dude living in the San Juans. No idea where now.

I would take everything blurred said online with several grains of salt, but he's fun to have a beer with and ski with. '

Skiing more than most of us, running a guiding bizz in Japan.

I heart cats, but wifey is allergic.

Guns....meh...I see the appeal. I like venison. Shooting targets is fun. A well-engineered powerful small machine is something of beauty.
Yet, I couldn't be more creeped out by the NRA and the gross, often-racially-tinged, paranoid gun culture. I say follow Canada in their approach.

There's a time and place for metal, but super heavy death metal is one of the few types of music I can't really find any examples I like.

it makes me a little uneasy to be sharing a common world with people who really get into this:

Which one of the "Big Four" do you like best, or dislike the least? Anthrax is the correct answer. 8) I have always preferred Thrash over Death. DRI is awesome. I actually think of them as THE folk protest group of thrash. Great political and social commentary, whether you agree or disagree with their views. Suicidal Tendencies fucking rock. COC has some pretty good stuff.

Yeah sorry about that. I started posting about Snowbasin and one of the employees somehow connected who I was. This place even partially contributed to me getting fired (briefly, long story) from Snowbasin. I still use flykdog to log into a couple things.

    Shitweasel (c)

I actually use that term to this day and I love the confused look people get. I think the last time was last year about this time when some shitweasel barked at me for double parking at post office while I ran in to throw package in the drop. Wasn't his car even. Shut it shitweasel and merry xmas
That’s nuts! Some shitweasel (c) barked shitweasel (c) at me about a year ago at that very USPS [emoji6]

    * Suicidal Tendencies went through a lot of changes over the years. This is probably their most well known song, however it is from their Punk Rock phase. Here is later thrash: https://youtu.be/CzeTNNzvo-c. Their bassist Robert Trujillo went on to become Metallica's bassist.

I dunno man, summer of 94 I saw them open for Metallica and ST was TIGHT. I liked them. And they were way better than Danzig, the other opener, or Metallica. Of course Trujillo then went to work for Metallica. Sigh. Big waste. Give me some Infectious Grooves!

I shot an arrow once in gym class. Excluding rubber-band wars in the ski shop that’s my entire archery background. Buckless Yooper, it’s real, I am him.

Whatever happened to Freshies247? That dude was one of the few true maggots I met while actually sitting on a chair and said change for a nickle. showed me a few cool lines.

And the best Anthrax song was a cover.

    (slight hyperbole)

His name was familiar for whatever reason. I bought a copy of Deep powder snow from him as part of the out of the shadows fundraiser

I am gonna have to agree to disagree.

Lot's of good stuff. Anthrax fucking rocks! And here's a better cover [that is nowhere near their best song and from a period in time that needs to remain a funny footnote in history and not pursued any further}.

and with even better when backing Public Enemy

Haven’t hung with shepherd in a long time. I see him on FB occasionally. Looks like he has a cool chick, a couple of dogs and rides bikes a lot.

I think an OBernhardFranz popped up on a UP thread the other week on the Facebooks. Maybe a Marquette thread? Does he live? I clicked onto the profile but couldn't tell much.
