I can't remember what my chat handle was but I do remember talking endlessly with iceman, basom, altagirl, and another funny eastcoaster who lived in Utah, then moved back....arghhhhhh what's his name...I told him to meet for free hotdogs at some department store in Utah for some reason as a joke because I was a dickhead. I apologized to him in person I think.

I remember a lotta doors opening and closing when that thing was going off, it was chaos.

iirc there was a second iteration that never really clicked, not sure why the first one ended but it was actually the shit, like crack on a screen, largely because of Basom, who is one of the more naturally funny dudes you will ever meet. We met up the 2004 Red Sox parade and I think the old-guy-doing-many-shots-of-vodka thing I was working at the time scared him a little. We crashed at a friend of mine's place in the South End that night and I never saw him again.

The dude was friends with basom, wildbill, etc. Lived in Sandy at the time. Posted a lot on the boards. From boston or CT or ???

i was a mystery guy that posted a lot then quit cold turkey so i could get work done, if i could remember my stupid handle faaccckkkkkkkk things would all make sense.

I don't remember him, but I remember you asking about him with that story before.

What happened to hohes/neckbeard? Did he decide to find a healthier use of time? For a while he was pretty active on here if only in a few threads.

I cut my teeth here at some point when my job started going south and I had lots of free time. I remember going through each HOF thread pretty much one after the other and it was more than a drop.

I always felt like I’d missed the best of the best times. So I kept hanging around here to see what would happen. It turns out I did miss the best times and I’ve been wasting my last 13 yrs. on here [emoji6]
