Without naming the manufacturer, I had two pieces of brand new equipment irrevocably fail today in the backcountry. The shop is offering to investigate, but the more I think about it, the more I think a refund is in order.
Am I out of line in not wanting a replacement? Had I been in higher consequence terrain the results could have been fatal.
Don’t want to flame them online; just want my money back and I’ll go with another company without naming names. Unreasonable?
