This is amusing to me... nerd alert.

I have 191 BG's from 12/13, with inserts for (now permanent) pivots and for Vertical FT12's. I did a lot of touring on them before the enlightening. They are my benchmark, my beloveds. But the ramp of the clamp put a damp on my amp... and with no more space to mount, they're now resort duty only.

From Evo's charts, that year BG is 2475g and the Vertical is 572g. Each ski mounted was 3047g.

My Lhasas are the same build as Muggy's... 9.5 lbs = 4300g, or 2150g each. Each Shift clamp weighs 897g... so each ski mounted is... 3047g.

You should know better then. Scotch is a drink, not a people.

Mrs L2S saw me posting some skis on CL and asked me wtf? I had to come clean on the new purchase. She looked at me, thought a moment and said "that's cool, I jacked the electric bill almost that much with my grow lights". I love that girl.

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

So the question I can’t seem to answer is...

Do I sell my GPO’s from last year since the Lhasa fats came through?

Are they filling the same quiver spot? Same layup? Or is one substantially heavier or longer than the other?

Would that not be a sweet Thanksgiving gift for next week?

Now what to mount them with? I have Sollie Guardians or STH2 WTR's. Both have 115mm brakes that I can bend a bit if needed. WWMD?

Help a jong out. I have Sollie Guardians or STH2 WTR's. Both have 115mm brakes that I can bend a bit if needed. Slim chance of me using them in the side country in the near future, but maybe down the road. Which would you mount on them?
