My Rx arent a lot of ski when I dont need them to be though. I can slow down whenever I want, and just mess around at 15mph riding with my family.

When it’s time to rage, just point and shoot

I assume these will be similar

That’s what these should do esp since the tips are a 4 flex. Keith said the tip stiffness will be identical to my 4 flex ProTest, which is money, but the break point is closer to the binding on the Lhasa. His 4/5 will be a little stiffer over all than my old stock Lhasa, which will be perfect in my eyes and what I was going for. The slight tail rocker will make them more manageable at slower speed and allow you to shut them down at a moments notice.
God I can’t wait to get them and especially ski them, though that may be a ways off.

Funny enough, thats exactly how Katanas flex. Tip is noticeably softer than tail with a hinge point. Blister gear used to rag on this type of flex profile a lot, but I like it. Makes the tip easy to force into a tighter turn, and helps it float.

I cant wait to trade off my Rx for someones pair of these for a few laps and compare!

Well first I was bonering for lacewood, but I think that would be best with minimal or no graphics since the grain is so intricate. I'm afraid that it'd become too busy with splat's legacy line art.

And of course the curly figure in the Tineo is da sex. But I worry about that one being quite dark on finishing. Thought about asking for it with a bright yellow ink, but ultimately I'd rather have a lighter overall color for shedding snow, since I'll use these for touring once in a while.

So I asked for birdseye maple with dark green ink if possible (black otherwise). I think the dark line art will pop out of the light veneer and look dope.

    DOPE!

Am I crazy to think the GPO galaxy scheme on the left could work? On maple or birch? Too much going on?

I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

It would work, but I don't think Keith is offering other graphic options for these skis. Not sure though.

Personally I think the Lhasa graphics are awesome, and simple/unicolor designs that leave a lot of wood showing look best IMO

Sure would be nice if we could get a pic of the ski to see the rocker lines, esp the new tail rocker.......

If they show up to BBI19 at Alpy, I'll need some time in the forest with them. Wish I could have jumped in on this.

Pat, really great that you were able to do this with Praxis. The Lhasa is still my all-time favorite ski and this thread has put a fire under my ass to attempt the repair on the pair I own since new ones were out of my budget.

I want to show up to the Utah version. I will bring mine. 316 bsl allows a little adjustment either way.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
