Yeah, sorry, missed the inserts part.
Thats some spendy grease.
What properties does it have over farm grease that make it necessary?

Annual season kick off party at my buddies.
Mounted some skis. Replacing FT12 Tours (dude hated the stand height).
Drilling his wife's fresh new skis.
Supervised buddy drilling the new skis for the crew.
Waxed and watched some stoke.
Lil dude started complaining to his dad "I wanna go fast". So he waxed his skis.

Not gonna lie, I’m a little scared of these things

Cheers to this thread.
I mounted tyrolia adrenalines on rens. Many thanks to the tips and "ways". Don't be afraid to mount demos first to dial in your mount point, then do a second mount with your preferred binding (w/ epoxy).
The diy never stops.
Two pairs just got inserts for shifts.
My goal was to not have to adjust the bindings between mounts and I think I did it. Mounted for 310 BSL vs my normal 317.
189 BG
And a Swiss cheese experiment on my gunsmokes. They have a sheet of metal in there so I’m not concerned; just stoked I made it fit!

Have you commented on quiver overlap of the 2 skis pictured in another thread? Don't want to hijack this one, but curious. I guess if those aren't the 193 gunsmokes, I don't have any questions.

186 on tail
Correct 186. That’s my DD. And the BG is for deeper days or days on larger terrain. Just moved from Colorado and I’m curious if we will have the terrain here in Washington/Idaho to open up the 189s in space.

Well done. 189 asym are fun in the trees if you stay on top of them.
wait!!!! waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait...Wait!
Zoolander wasn't a documentary?
Washington/Idaho is a big place. Plenty of space to let them run without all the front range gapers.
That’s what I’ve heard, the 184s were money in the trees; but I wanted more stability in more open terrain.
I look forward to finding those stashes!

I hope you bought those poles.
For what it is worth, I'm skiing the same 957s with no issues.
Yep. Same pattern. And I’m also rocking 957s on my daily drivers with zero issues, fwiw.

yes, I've searched.
Any reason to even think about removing inserts on a ski if switching bindings and there is no intention of ever reusing the inserts again
Seems like there is risk of damage, vs just filling them with some waterproof removable silicone caulk and forgetting about them.
Opinions. Go!
Leave em be. They're epoxied in, perfectly sealed.
