Test mount was a good idea. Jigarex was dead on. Skis are 100 waist - the dreaded width for jigarex that makes it hard to center. Got it pretty close, all good.

I was a screw short for the P14 GWs. Missing one toe screw. Picked one up at the shop and they told me that the front and back toe screws are different. I always thought the toe screws are all the same, but its the heels that are different front and back. Anybody know for sure?

Pretty sure I answered my own question and that all of the toe screws are the same at 16mm. it's the heel that has two different sizes.

Although the length is the same, isn't the head different between the front two and back two screws on the toes? Front are narrow head, rear are standard head width.

Lhasa fats mounted--Look Z7s with modern turntables and 4-scew alpine pedestals. I had to make a little shim that goes between the AFD plate and the pedestal so the toe wing clearance matches the modern alpine pivot toe clearance.

eBay Jeffs... Thinking I will put sender pivots on them, unless I can find some white ones. Or orange FKS...

The mythics were just out because I was dreamin' of skiin' volcanoes earlier this summer but never got my chance. Interesting how close the cham/mythic shape is to the Lhasa.

Fucking legendary. I’ve been scheming to do this for a coupe years.
Shim is ~2mm IIRC? What material did you use?

It's 1/16" ABS, I think I bought the sheet from McMaster Carr or maybe it was Amazon. It measures 1.6mm, and yeah, I think to be right at spec it would need to be 2mm, but I'm not losing any sleep over .4mm!

I made a second set and sent them to someone on here, but now I don't have an unmounted pair to trace. It's not that hard of a shape, a razor blade and a Dremel will get the job done!

    /\/\/\ that was me!
    Thank you.

I have an identical set of pink Z7s that I'm going to "modernize".
Got them for free on a Craigslist pair of 212cm Spauldings.
