I haven't played since the late 90s but played 2-3 times a month off and on since the mid 1970s. Was never any good but always had a good time playing. I might have to relight that flame. Came across this brand new set of Wilson Reflex clubs and bag at a thrift store today for ..... 12 dollars and fifty cents.. every club head still in shrink. I already had a cheap set of Mizunos.. however that is spelled.. in the shed but golf has been at the bottom of my.. wanna go do list for 20 years. My teen son wants to give it a try so now that I have two sets of clubs in the shed I might just have to make that happen. Next stop the driving range to re learn my swing and show the kid how the clubs work or try to hahaha.

A quick Google search pulls up Wilson Reflex sets new for $699.00. I get that latest and greatest go for 10 times what three or four year old new old stock go for just like skis. Is it even remotely possible that these are $700 golf clubs???

Wilson makes decent clubs - not great, but OK. Looks like a decent starter set for someone. I wouldn’t pay $700 for it, but $12 is certainly a steal.

So last fall I started consistently using a push cart when walking. After a few months, my handicap went up higher than it's been in 15-20 years (went from a 2 or 3 to a 6 or 7). The last few months I returned to carrying my bag on my shoulders - or riding a cart when it's hot or on courses where walking isn't a real option. Handicap went back down. Pretty sure it's related to my posture and pushing the cart was causing me to hunch my shoulders forward, which started to have a negative impact on my swing posture.

    Anyone else ever experience this?

first out 9, didn't bring my umbrella and got rained on, had the back completely to myself, played poorly but hit perfect drives on 16, 17 and 18 which have been my nemeses, and parred the last 2. putting completely fucked trying to go back to looking at the ball but hopefully will work that out over time.

home before everybody's dressed. time to coach the boy's soccer team.

Nice looking par 3 hole! Cool sky too. Feet look like they are aiming for the buildings to the left, are you fighting a slice? Of course it could be the camera angle or i'm full of shit or both...
Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.
