I am totally sold on Fairwinds products. Love love love their 5:1 Ratio. I take that in the morning with another 20mg of hemp derived CBD (not a Fairwinds product. Honey Stix from CBD-lish) and in the evening I take their PM 300 Relief (sometimes I add an additional 5mg Indica tincture to that). I am getting better, deeper sleep and waking up more energized. A friend actually said to me the other day that I looked radiant. LOL! Truthfully I had noticed a change in my face. I look and feel happier. Don't know if it is just from getting better quality sleep or the absence of low grade age related pain but things have def. changed for the better and if all this is just a placebo effect well then so be it. I feel perky and I like it!

If this is what it takes to trick my mind into "healing" my body then I say it's all good. At least it doesn't give me black or bloody stools, shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting, inability to pee, swelling of tongue... etc. etc... etc..... (as in all the drug ad warnings you hear on TV).

I haven't taken an Advil or Tylenol in months and before I was taking them several times a week with little relief and I certainly wasn't radiant.
I haven't used Advil, Tylenol, or Ibu's going on 27 months now, after using them pre-activity and prophylactically for years. It's ancedotal, but if anything much less inflammation than I used to have. It's maybe not the most cost conscious option though...

LOL!! You know what I mean! All those horrible drug ads that they run during the time when you're watching the news preparing your food and what not. The potential side effects sound horrific.

Been thinking the same thing about the cost but I feel so much better so right now it's worth it.

    CBD Oil - Official Thread

I’m running the thc/cbd program. I feel really good, no bullshit. Wicked mellow and even keeled emotionally and my old knees feel freshly lubed. I don’t take any over the counter or scrip, ever.

I had a 50/50 thc/cbd rso droplet about the size of a grain of rice. Took me for a wild ride, woke up the next day with the end still a little way out.

Ouch. Following Bobby Baker's lead could be dangerous to mere mortals. It looks like his casual morning coffee dose is large enough to tranquilize a whole heard of elephants.

Took dose at 2pm. Nice blissful CBD buzz almost immediately, I thought wow this is great way of doing things. Had a great session in the bike park.

3 hours later, still just some relaxation and feelings of happiness. Thought cool, this is it. Hoped in car to drive home from bike park. Nice mellow buzz, no psychoactive component.

1 hour later, sudden onset of a powerful sativa like chest rush. Hmm. Almost home, it's gonna be fine.

15 minutes later. Whoa. Hold it together. Amost home. Shit what if I get pulled over. OMG. 1000 different scenarios rush through my head all at once. God damn it, focus! State Patrol pulls out behind me. Fuck. 10 and 2, 10 and 2, 10 and 2. Keep it together, you got this. State Patrol drives past me. Make it home in 1 piece.

30 minutes later. At home, trying to act somewhat normal. Decide that's not working. "Honey, I'm going to be honest here, I'm really struggling. I'm progressively getting higher by the moment. I'm going to sit on the couch."

30 minutes later. I guess this is couch lock. Mind going at 200mph. Replaying the drive home and all the bad things that could have happened. Oh shit I can't hardly move. Turned on some dumb Seth Rogan movie.

Holy shit I'm starving. Eat dinner. Food barely edible, the texture is very confusing.

4 hours later. 2 movies later. Felt like 10 minutes and literally forever all at the same time. Brain not racing as bad but movement still difficult. I crawl up to bed, standing is too difficult.

10 hours later. Wake up feeling very groggy. Realize that I'm still tingling. Still feel high. Coffee, breakfast and a shower help. Mouth dryer than the Sahara. Thankfully no bloodshot eyes.

So like I said, RSO is very strong if you're a more casual consumer and in my opinion it's so highly concentrated that it's difficult to do a small dose. I would only do it again if I took the small dose and mixed it with something to dilute the dose.

In hindsight, I bet that small dose I took had at least 50mg thc based on the numbers on the package. 5-10 mg is plenty for me in an edible. It was stupid to try it while not at home but you live and you learn I guess.

Not that it was the wrong time or place, but that statement conjures an image... sitting next to you on Chair 2, watching you alternate from gritting teeth to o-face and back, rocking gently, looking around and down at the skier on the Fan... then you turned to me and said, "mannn, I'm a little TOo high right now..."

But there were snosk8 wares involved, too, iirc

LOL! I was driving to the cannabis store the other day and I passed a patrol car parked just up the street and thought "shit!" then I remembered I'm not driving to meet some friend of a friend in some run down house. I'm driving to a legal cannabis store. Ha!

I appreciate the guidance and as I said I may get there but right now I like the convenience of ready to use tinctures and the price isn't busting my wallet but at the same time I realize it could be more economical. We'll see. Again, goal isn't to get high or drunk. Just looking for relief from daily aches and pains that come with age and a good night's sleep.

I've been told drinking juice can help metabolize the THC but don't really know if that is true.

Haven't read this yet but might be helpful:

On to the next facet of CBD oil - Hemp derived CBD vs. Cannabis derived CBD. I've had shop owners tell me the Hemp derived CBD is no better than taking turmeric so I've decided to read up as much as possible.

One of many articles out there on the subject:

DEBUNKING THE MARIJUANA CBD VERSUS HEMP CBD MISCONCEPTION

    and another:

    Hemp CBD vs. Cannabis CBD

    and one more:

Just spoke with my boss at the cbd coffee company. I jumped into this full on right outta the gate because it's so exciting....to me anyways. He explained the difference between eating oil and consuming water soluble cbd. Oil cbd does not absorb like water soluble cbd. What might take someone 30mg of oil to feel the effects can be done with 5 mg of water soluble cbd. I'm learning some cool shit. Hopefully, I'll be riding this train to MJBizcon in Vegas in November.

    Hey all!

I wanted to share my journey of recovery from ACL/ both Meniscus surgery and want to provide an amazing alternative to getting through surgery! CBD OIL!

CBD Oil -- has helped me tremendously. With an ACL and both meniscus tear, torn left arm and osteoarthritis, I can confidently say that the CBD has helped me alleviate issues that I had been experiencing for YEARS since post-surgery rehabilitation. CBD has given me freedom to move my legs (without fatigue, joints cracking, sharp pains, inflammation), squat, break-dance, play sports confidently, feel at ease, etc... The lubrication resulting from these natural CBD Oils are truly effective.

I've recommended CBD Oil to others and those who tried it to told me they truly love what it's done for them. They experienced amazing relief and a change in their physical functioning and mental attitude. They've reported to be much more calm, relaxed, less fatigued and FREE OF ANXIETY and REDUCED INFLAMMATION. Many have told me about their results and for the most part -- it boils down to inflammation and chronic pain.

Inflammation/chronic pain are serious ailments. Many people have inflammation throughout their bodies and are NOT EVEN AWARE as to how it negatively affects their everyday lives. CBD oil works as a natural lubrication for joints as well as brain-health. Those who I know who tried these CBD products told me that there had been inflammation in their joints/bones leading to their mental and physical fatigue and anxiety. Once the oil entered in their system, they felt lubricated in their bodies--> leading to its mental equivalent (a much more calm, relaxed & content state of being).

I truly believe in these products. These oils can really change your life and provide you the relief that has been missing for many years

If you are interested let me know. This is hands-down the very best website to buy CBD Products.

except it's not really a water soluble compound, and it's actually still an oil form but just tiny sized. Water soluble is a misnomer- what the process really does is microencapsulation ie emulsification of the oil into typically 50-150 uM micron sized droplets that allows it to be dispersed in a water, as opposed to a bolus delivery, which vastly increases the surface area available.

Do they have a web site yet?

I started with 20mg Honey Stix in the evening for a nice relaxing sleep. Since switching to a PM CBD/THC tincture I now take the Honey Stix in the morning. I put it in a bit of warm water but you can mix it in tea or coffee. I tried it in my mocha once but it made it too sweet as I already had chocolate in the mix.
