That's the original one. That was done at the Chevrolet factory dipshit.

After the car won multiple awards (hence "Built to Drive There is Life after Concours) the owner wanted a daily driver type experience. He built the car as such and this is the finished product. A car that can be enjoyed rather than put under a cover. All original NUMBERS MATCHING parts come with the vehicle. Its a 50k dollar car. Hardly enough to blow my skirt up so who really gives a fuck? Neither of you can afford it anyhow.

I could if a wanted an old car that drives and handles like an old car. For $50k, I'd buy a GT 500 Mustang and blow that piece of shit Chevy out of the water.

By the way retard, I'm a professional mechanic, so be careful how much bullshit you try to post....

This is no Silvia but the 93 348TS Speciale (81 of 100) looks pretty fucking good.

Go to a car auction and try to explain yours, and BS's theory on a buyer about matching numbers, , you'll be laughed out of town.

Congratulations on knowing someone who collects cars? You're not genuinely curious about anything. You're a contrarian with a density approaching osmium who regularly rides the nuts of opposing views.

Seller advertises restored running driving numbers matching car. You show up to buy said car and see the car is restored running driving but with aftermarket drivetrain. Numbers matching drivetrain actually in a box beside the car. Seller now says he meant numbers matching parts come with car; you need to put the work in to make it numbers matching but that shouldn't matter. There's no helping if you don't see the difference. Like I said, call Hemmings or the NCM.

Nice hypothetical situation. Did you read where I said we dont have the car anymore?

Its going to Mecum. Where they will advertise it with matching number parts as part of the sale.

You are just a twat waffle. Thats all.

I've been to more car auctions than I can count. We used to go to Pebble Beach every year. As both buyers and sellers. Good times.

But- Are you really trying to imply that if the matching parts are in a box and not on the car that they hold no extra value? Because that is fucking stupid.

Also a cars value is not based on weather or not the original engine was in it for its entire life. Cars that come with the original parts not installed are obviously going to need to be rebuilt to realize full value but that does not mean that matching parts in a box are worthless..

Matching numbers are the holy grail to collectors. You of all people should know this and also know how easy it is to put a car back together.

What kinda moron would not check the numbers before he buys the car?

That's about as dumb as restoring a car that has matching numbers with new parts that do not match.

So you agree that matching parts not on the car do hold value?

Hot Import Nights douche knows more about the cars Bobby Clueless sells than he does. Sad!

You have in no way demonstrated such knowledge. Quite the contrary actually.

Going back to the Camaro, if it really is an RS/SS (doubtful), and all stock (except for the wheels), and numbers matching, whoever painted it a non-factory color is an idiot.

And I definitely didn't stay at a holiday inn express last night.
