Nothing noteworthy for over a month?

Well, to add a little kindling to the thread, my girlfriend of <6 months said we should get engaged before moving to a ski town in the fall... cause it would be “risky” for her to make the move without. Not sure she understands ski town population ratios.

The other day we are pulling into a parking space and my wife keeps creeping forward until she hits the front bumper on a tree that’s on the parking strip.

    Me: “what the hell?”

Her: “sorry, I thought I’d hit the curb before I hit the tree”

So, if you guys start hating each other she wants to make sure you're married? That's bullet-proof logic.

Maybe it’s you who doesn’t understand her level of self-control... ;-)

    What's in those kooky mini-doughnuts?

You are correct, and should trust your feelings.

To be clear, she felt that SHE was taking the risk.

Before a tsunami strikes the water is drawn away from land, often leaving a serene landscape. The beach is quiet and left wide open. And then the wave hits and everything is laid to waste.

Iceman, you have some great insights and humor. I have enjoyed reading your stuff here on TGR. Just wanted to say that before your wife murders you.

FTR, my question was serious. Wife is pre-menopausal. It's early, but....

We were talking about getting another dog the other day, and my wife, who would rather we not get another dog, said "If we get another dog, I'm leaving." I said, "Even so, we're not getting another dog." I think that might have fucked with the whole marital enlightenment thing I had going there for a minute.

Oh. Well it wasn't awesome, but it seemed mostly physical for her, night sweats and shit like that. Fatigue from not sleeping well and being cranky from being tired a lot. She's always been kinda nutty (hey she married me!) so I really didn't notice too much on the mental side of things honestly.

It's different for everyone. A couple women that I've been with had no mental issues but turned horny as hell. That can be a problem with their, uh, dryness issues. Stock up on lube.

Depends on what dog, really. Tough choice tho.
