Mattig, you end up buying or renting that camper? Post pics so we know what it looks like!

I'll be touring on Friday while Mrs. Macchio skis with SheJumps.

Saturday I plan for inbounds shenanigans with the TGR crew while my wife mountain bikes with the Ladies AllRide crew. Sounds like the rally point is gonna be as close as possible to Red Chair or Tubing park huh? I should be able to get up early to nab a good spot, as Mrs. Macchio will be able to pedal over to her MTB clinic.

Sunday is still up in the air ... maybe I'll be working on my YouTube Red miniseries, so that I can bask in the glory days of 1984, and also so that I'll finally be able to pay off all the debt I took on after I pissed off all my earnings from My Cousin Vinny on hookers and blow.

Are you all RV camping up at Bachelor or are people staying down in Bend? I would like to pick lodging that is stumbling distance from some bars and some mags. Also, I have room for one Washington mag in my rig for the drive down.

I usually stay in cheap motels that allow dogs (there are a ton on and around 3rd St). Days Inn is my usual go-to because my puppy is so cute they don't charge us extra fees

However that stretch of motels is not quite stumbling distance from downtown - definitely walkable just kind of suckass when it's 20 degrees and snowing. Bars downtown will probably be a bit of junkshow on Saturday night as well ... there is free parking in the structure at Oregon and Bond, but I bet that thing fills up, and of course you need someone to stay sober.

If it's clear out, the fire pits at Crux will be a hot spot to socialize, in both literal and figurative senses of the word. But I'm kind of a crux brew fanboi, I have a dog and they are dog friendly there, and I'm used to Portland and Bay Area crowds, so maybe I give that place a bit too much credit.

Crux is some damn fine beer. Count me in to drink some of that this weekend.

My wife and I are doing the air bnb thing and have a room over somebody's garage. West end of town off century Dr.

Just renting this time. Gonna upgrade the truck and get a bigger slide in camper as I think 3 people is pushing it on anything that's gonna fit in a tundra crewmax.

Wrt hotels, a nice room at Tetherow just freed up. Didn't cost much more than the camper rental.

Also, the rental place definitely has a few more travel trailers if you're into that sort of thing.

I will have the grill with me — call me & let’s talk logistics (it does have limitations)

Crux is upgrading their outdoor situation. Still nice but it’s not built out completely yet. The wall on the right as you enter is being blown out to make way for a garage door.

I'll be hardbooting and generally making an ass of myself with some alpine snowboarding friends at Bachelor this weekend and Tuesday/Wednesday next week, say hi if you see me on the hill. Olive drab helmet and either blue Orage jacket or bright green Montbell shell, depending on temps.

    Yes, please add.

The RV place says they can give me a grill. I don't know anything about it. Better bet would be for someone to bring a smoker and throw it next to my trailer in the morning. I would bring mine but I don't think it will fit in the truck. Maybe if I take the legs off.

Anyone know if we can have wood/coal fired grills in the parking lot? How about fire pit at night?

Shit, I might just leave my case at home! We're also bringing some homemade sweet and sour for any of you tequila fans. Mostly lime juice and agave with a little lemon and orange juice.

I’ll be there for Sun & Mon leftover shenanigans, can’t bring too much in ski-3po van other than mrs gepmeow, beers to keep me occupied while y’all ski, and a pair of GPO & Filthy Rich skis which I’ll be slangin’ direct from my rig. It’s gepmeow’s gimpy gear sale!!!
