Damn, I was planning on hitting ASSSpen this weekend. Might just have to stay high at the Basin.

Steady rain drizzle at 9500 right now in CB. This may just solidify the worst winter since the 70's status. Should make for some nice sticky stuff up high I guess.

Look on the bright side. This RMSP+ skier won't be making the drive busying up your ski area.

Actually, once the snow goes isothermic the riding kind of sucks unless it’s really hard pack.
I road up Indy yesterday and it was still good late afternoon.

Dang...I've lived in the greater Breckenridge area for 23 seasons and this is the first time I've seen liquid fall from the sky in March at 9,800'. It's not pissing out there, but there is a definite drizzle. The new norm?

It was 52 degrees at the base of Vail when I drove through tonight at about 6:30, and it was 41 on VP at 10,500'. Ridiculous.

Packing up the family for a week down there on Saturday. While I’m looking forward to getting away and spending time in CB I’m certainly not looking forward to the depressing snow situation. Hey, at least you haven’t had any dust storms yet have you?

A solid skiff on the Snowmass snow stake and 1.7 at the top of Ajax... hmm... maybe worth hiking the bowl or the wall today.

On the rain thing... 2008 ish I remember a big rain here, another during X games, the snow line was literally at the top of the pipe during the pipe event...

    They may not open.

I’ve actually had some really good days in the rain, at least it will be soft.

I’ll be on the bucket and if the skiing sucks, I’m that much closer to the bars to drowned my sorrow.

6” report for highlands, which, if memory serves is the highest elevation for reporting on our 4. Snowmass actually reports off the top of the knob vs the stake the camera is on.... which a lot of times you can almost double just between there and Gwynn’s

Highlands might be the call, if you just stay on Deep T.
Anything good at the Mass, has a ton of flats to contend with.
    I’m at 1A now and it’s pouring.
If it’s not good, I can always catch the bus to Highlands.

Hoping it washes away some snow on the bike trails. Got a Red Hill ride in before it started raining.

It's skiing surprisingly well. And it looks like 6" up high, with more to come, so it will be OK.

Riding 1A sucked, but it’s nuking above tower 10. Not as soft as I thought it would be, but it could be later.

You know there's a gondola, right?
